Andy Freeman
What a revelation......SWMBO brought the magazine back from the shops today and as always the first thing i do is to pull out the free plan. There it was....I could not believe it.....Not only a guide to how much wood and what sizes i would need to buy were i to make it BUT also the best way to fit the parts on the make best use of the wood!!!!! You have no idea how much difference this will make to me and and hopefully some other new builders..... What next I ask? Short kits for the free plans at a modest cost??? I hope some of the other designers follow suit ... Once again, many thanks Tony and RCME
Craig Carr
HI Andy, Im going to build the Midget Mustang in next months mag.. Do you fancy building the Cosmic Wind so we can be the "dynamic duo" down the field Craigy
Andy Freeman
Do you know Craig, I am really tempted. Flat plate wings appeal to my pathological hatred of trying to cut ribs. Got two things to do first. Need to balance and set up the control throws on the Pushycat and finish off my rebuild of the Funfly. The Funfly needs fuel tank before i can take it any further and i hope to be able to get to Gladstones n the morning.
Doug Ireland
Hi Andy, Couldn't agree more! I did mention elsewhere on this forum that this was the bast laid-out set of plans I've seen for years. Hopefully other designers will follow on from Tony's lead.
Andy Freeman
Doug, I hope so. Now I can just ring the shop and ask for x sheets of balsa at a certain grade and know i have enough /not bought too much.. Brilliant in my opinion....
