stuey
Here is a little tip for anyone selling modelling stuff to us flyers out there. If a customer pays for an order on the 16th of the month, and the customer calls on the 23rd to see what is happening, be honest. Dont tell the customer you sent it out on the 22nd, when you actually sent it on the 24th. The postage label has the postage payment date on it, which is a bit of a giveaway. In my book it breeds distrust, and the likelyhood of any repeat business pretty unlikely. I have been working with customers face to face for nearly 20 years. I have found being straight with them is far better than telling them what they might want to hear. I wish this was the first time this has happened, but sadly not... stuey
Dont want to say tbh, he is well known to people on here. But this is not a made up story! I will probably not deal with him again, but it is a small outfit and as much as I'm annoyed I have no wish to see them go down.
Bryce Allcorn - BritFlight.co.uk
I was worried that it might have been us somehow - but we didn't send anything out on the 24th! Instead I was stuck on the M5 with a blown out tyre on the trailer for far too long
