David Holroyd
Hi,I have a JR DSX9 on a 6 servo glider with motor and ESC. I have programmed all i need to with the glider controls and have made the motor operational on the throttle stick in launch mode. However, i cannot turn off butterfly braking in launch mode. So, what i have is proportional motor control AND butterfly braking in launch mode, which is clealy far from ideal!! My starting point for programming has been the article by Sherman Knight on the JR site, which is brilliant, but has allowed me to miss how to do this littel trick. Any help gratefully received. Vic. P.
Hi David, The rear switch Thold/mix on top left of your transmitter should work to switch off butterfly and allow the throttle channel to become throttle. Assuming you won't be landing under power, this can be switched back to butterfly for landings! This of course assumes that this switch has not been assigned for another channel. Hope this is of some help Regards Vic.
