Michael Oliver
Hi all, I know this topic has been touched on before, but please indulge me.I have just bought a 450 size electric heli and I am worried about possible interference from the electronics, hence the thoughts about using 2.4.My question is two fold. 1. Which is the best conversion for a FF9 transmitter ?2. as this is the only model I can see myself flying on 2.4, how easy is it to convert back to 35Mhz say at the field so I could fly another model and is this an advisable thing to do?Many thanks Michael. ken anderson.
michael-my two penny worth is=why 2.4ghz...your electric heli will work a/ok with 35mhz...if you do decide 2.4ghz...it's simply a case of purchasing a module for your transmitter.....be it a futaba or spectrum and a rx...and away you go......me i would fly your heli on 35mhz...no reason not to.... ken anderson....... Ralph Yeates
The FF9 you can buy a 2.4 plug in module it takes under 1 minute to swap them over with the 35mhz.If there are no interferance issue on 35 then no need to buy the 2.4 module but if you want to go 2.4 or have interferance then 2.4 is the way to go. If you are buying from scratch then go straight for 2.4 you won't regret it.Ralph
