fly boy3
Hi all,I am currently using the sandwich method of cutting balsa ribs -(1st time). Is there an accurate way of removing the spar slot balsa after cutting the verticals, while they are still bolted together. There are 4 slots per rib. Thanks Fly Boy

Doug Ireland
Hi FB3, if you have finished the shaping of the ribs it would be safe enough to unbolt them and make the spar slots in your templates. Then bolt the whole lot together again and use a small square file to finish off the slots. That's how I do it anyway, I'm sure there will be better ideas out there somewhere.
