Hi all, first off, merry Christmas, and i hope you all have a great new year.

A question i hope you can help with, about 10 years ago i bought a "Multi-Q " 3 in 1 charger, superb bit of kit, you could charge the TX, Rx, and a glow-start all at once with a variable charge rate, really nice easy to use field charger.

It died !!

Anyway i bought a "Prolux " 3 in 1, again a nice charger but here is the problem, it will charger the Rx battery in situ, no prob , glow stick, no problem, but when i connect up the Tx plug and plug it in to the TX, it will not charge, take the battery out and charge it, fine.
The old mulit Q would charge through a Tx plug in to the tranny, this one will not .
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Chris.

Its probably the blocking diode which is fitted to the tx - this is to prevent damage to the circuitry if someone plugs in the wrong polarity, but unfortunaltely it means that certain chrgers which need to "see" the voltage of the battery before they start work - cant do so.
Either bypass this diode, or charge out of the tx.
