Merlin spit Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 been looking around for a first kit to build and saw one of these it suits my price range ie cheap ,and thought it would be a nice relaxing model to fly and id could give it a nice and bright colour scheme ,as all my models are blue/green and ive been finding them hard to see in winter. has anyone got it or another west wings kit and would it suit a first time kit builder Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Andy Freeman Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 It was my first ever model. flies great and even a fool like me managed to put it together without any help!!! Not sure if they have updated it for brushless and LiPo power. mine flew on NiMh and a very expensive 400 motor and gearbox. Didnt know any better at the time and that was the recommended setup.
