  1. Acrobrat?Britbrat?Swoop? Get the flares and chunky medallion on for the - Funk-E-fly! (sorry - the Hustle got me!)
  2. Sorry Timbo, didn't mean to send a poostorm your way
  3. Timbo - Isn't the DX6 the parkfly one and the DX6i full range?
  4. Thanks guys. I'm sure the Ripmax Spit is an excellent flier, but his GWS P.40 looks more like a Spitfire! I'll let him know about it and the Parkzone model.
  5. My son asked me last night whether a foamy Spitfire was available which was bigger than the GWS/Flying Legends models. As I didn't know, I thought I'd throw the question open to the knowledgable and helpful members of the friendly forum. Thanks, Eck
  6. Well done Russ! They sound very helpful at your club - How about a name check (for the club) so we know who the "good guys" are?Obviously all the practice on the simulator has paid off.
  7. Hi Ernie,The male end MUST go to the ESC, and the corresponding female end on the Lipo leads. This ensures that there are no bare connectors on the end of the Lipo to short out on things hanging around in your flight box, pocket etc. Edited By Eck on 17/08/2009 16:13:07
  8. ooooooh! sounds like choirs of angels!

Great music choices, Mikey! AND a video with Famke Janssen in it! Polyphilla, you must have raised the lad proper!
  11. Thanks Ben, let's say that the flying experience was "unexciting" on the PAW, which did a far better job hauling around a Ben Buckle Fokker D.8!
  12. Hmmm.... Thanks for that, guys, may need to look elsewhere, then.
  13. Matt - do you never get the urge to build an ugly model - just for a change? (and to make the less talented of us feel less bad!) Superb work, mate!
  14. Hi folks, just a general enquiry as to whether anyone has converted one of the Cambrian Fun Fighter series to brushless power. I built the Me 109 many years ago, powered by a PAW 19 diesel, for 2-channel control, and have just found out that they're still available. As all my models are electric these days, can anyone suggest a suitable flight package? Thanks, Eck
  15. Great job, Pete. Shows what can be done with what might appear at the time to be a "write-off".

    Its a Girl :)

Congratulations! On the car front, it's not what you drive, but how you drive it! Have fun, DAD!

Isn't Myron sounding a lot more cheerful these days?
  18. An excellent choice of winner-Congratulations Tomas!
  19. Mid-aired by a low-flying turbine model? Go on... gi's a clue!
  20. Full up elevator, a loop....with recovery three feet underground?
  21. Thanks for that, Timbo. I have the receiver positioned so that the aerials run across the fuse (more for ease of plugging/unplugging servos), but now think that repositioning so that they run fore and aft might be a better idea.
