  1. Same as above I got a quad in the air using a KK2 flight control board. Plus now I got myself a 550 HEX copter using a APM Flight control board. This thing is on rails. It has GPS waypoint control and return to home at the flip of a switch & on fail-safe. FPV is getting put on later on. Fun fun fun

I totally agree with rentman. That is the deal I went for but you will NEED quite a lot of "extras". (glue, knife, tape, soldering iron etc) Once you have what rentman says you'll be able to fly. But get a simulator on your computer to practise, but thats all it is it won't teach you. You'll have to go out and crash like the rest of us for that lesson. Make your wish list and post it on here, so we can all help alter it if need be. Nowt wrong with H/King now its in the UK. (every company has some bad feedback) Good luck Dyl

    I am really lucky

Dali enters ,,, shakes his head and leaves..
  4. I use a puller on a pusher. But like you its on a electric. I've been told before that pusher props are NEEDED on IC planes not small electric ones. I fly a Bixler2 And loads of others fly my plane or very similar with puller props. Stay Lucky Dyl
  5. I'm actually pleased to see it go. Sorry for the staff but most were in the wrong job anyway. The main problem for me was the "staff" were just that "staff" , and were just retail staff not employees interested in the hobby at all. And may have put off a lot of people from carrying on in the hobby being sold the wrong kit for them and no after sales care. LHS's rule but the Internet is just to easy not to use and you generally save money.
  6. This is quite helpful. **LINK** Ta Dyl
  7. Posted by Dave Bran on 29/06/2013 12:14:39: We are here!!! **LINK** That is the very club I was a member at a few years ago. Hope everyone is doing well, I see Jim has moved on, top bloke. I do hope to come back but for now I'll be trying to go it alone in the parks. Thanks for the welcome guys. Dyl
  8. Like it Chuck I'm just getting my Bixler2 flying soon. Did you get out at all this week? If you do the motor mount mod the prop will clear the fuse. Stay lucky
  9. Hi guys. My brief history is I joined a club a few years back and started to learn on my trainers, Prangster and Boomerang (both IC). Didn't keep it up although I did learn a bit whilst there and at some point will join again but probably not for a long while. Turned to electric. In the mean time I flew a indoor Helli and then a 450 sized Helli. Didn't get that far on the 450 (just hovering and left to right / right to left circuits) but threw the co-axial all over the place. I have a RC car that goes out occasionally and this is IC 1/8 truggy. Well this month I have brought a Bixler2 from H/King. I have had the maiden but my CG was all over the place. 2nd try I got it up but the gusty winds put me off. Gonna go out again with it asap. Stay lucky Dyl
