(Pachelbel's Canon in D - Although the picture in the video is Mozart I believe) Another favorite is Barbers Adagio for strings. 12. Good luck Stephen! Im not being condesending but I have alot of strong beliefs about success..... if you visualise yourself passing the test... and everything that comes with it, like.... how you will feel when you're told you've passed...., then if you believe it without a doubt, you will achieve it. The subconcious mind is what's in charge haha.   What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve - Napoleon Hill   Don't worry about it either.... when it comes to worrying you have 2 choices. 1) if there is nothing you can do about it....... stop worrying 2) if there is something you can do about it....... do it. therefor, there is no need to worry. Mikey.
  13. i've noticed in a few places  on the forum people saying about problems with copy and paste.... Just to help, most times when a webpage has a script to disable right clicking the keyboard shortcut works, or when for some strange reason it just wont copy and paste. here is a few helpfull keyboard shortcuts anyway.   ctrl + c (copy) ctrl + v (paste) ctrl + x (cut) alt + tab  - Tab being the key that is normaly next to Q (switches from one open program to the other.) ctrl + tab (switches though tabs in the active application, E.g. Multiple tabs open in a web browser like firefox or the latest Internet Explorer) Hope it helps someone at least. Mikey.

  15. Myron, i would be interested in hearing "Order" What is it you don't know how to do, would be happy to run through it with you. maybe it would be a good tutorial for me to make for the whole forum. you could even post the lyrics here (copyright them first haha) I think i would be a great agony "uncle" lol. I may be young but i know a lot about how to keep the mind healthy and positive. In my early teenage years i used to be a very angry and bitter about a lot of things but I've now learned so much and am also greatful for those things for making me a stronger person. I had to change in order to have any chance at succeeding in my career. A great person for inspirational quotes is Napoleon Hill.   "what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve" - Napoleon Hill. There are many little things like that -  that keep me fighting when things do get tough. I like this cafe... seeing a different side to people i think.   Mikey

    Gigs?

haha Chris, well.... they are an instrument, a percussive one. Most young people do just "thrash" them because they don't understand that drums have dynamics and can create emotion (which is what music is all about) I was a tutor at a college in Liverpool for a good while and we frequently got young "rockers" into death metal and such. and literally hit the drums as hard as they could. It took ages to "DRUM" it into them that if they're going full whack from the off, they have nothing to build up the chorus. I like this thread haha!

    Gigs?

Speaking of music making modelers, I think it has alot to do with frame of mind Myron.   It takes a certain frame of mind for someone to take the time to learn an instrument and i think that same "creativity" is transferred well into modeling. I enjoy anything creative an have a lot of skills outside of music, but i have learned these things because i had to, to get the job done. I taught myself web design because i wanted to promote myself, Video editing so i could make music videos, computer repairs because i always broke them or Microsoft operating systems was unpredictable (Damn i love being a Mac boy now hehe) and many others.   i think starting a new government party is a good idea. then if we got into power we could rule us some damn flying sites!! what would this new party be called   just to be on topic so the big boss get rid of my post like my dad said, Im going to see Jackson in June. I can't wait. i havn't been to many PROPER concerts, and with this being one of my infuences im extreamly excited! Mikey

    Gigs?

Haha surprisingly enough Myron my practices are practices, i dont drink so that rules out the pub based practice. Im very committed to my career and wont let anything get in the way of my dreams, as it should be for everyone. I remember going the local pub when i was younger to watch our local band at the time because we knew the guitarist, and yeah... Fag on machine head and pint on the side lol.   Mikey Edited By Mikey Matteo on 15/05/2009 21:23:43

    Gigs?

Myron, thats list of instruments is pretty long!!! haha I completely agree about singers these days having a bad throat after 5 songs. To be honest i used to be like that...... no more than 2 years ago. Now i go practicing for hours in one of my manager units. It's all technique. Another thing that gets me is performers having to take a sip of water while on stage. I find that REALLY unprofessional. When singing correctly, it shouldnt be needed and singing should feel as easy as speaking, not forced. I play guitar, keyboard, and drums. I would love to learn sax and many others to be honest.   thank you for the "Polysingingson" reference . To be completely honest i can't stand that music video. The song is wrong and the image is wrong. i'll post the new vids we're working on now when they're completed.   One thing thats annoys me alot about much of todays music is that It's mostly sampled old songs. There's nothing wrong with doing that in general. but i believe if your going to use a sample of someone elses song you should aleast manipulate the audio enough to make it "a new sound" I have complete re-productions of many songs including "Lionel Richie - all night long" and a male version of "The Saturdays - Issues" but they're completly re-made from scratch and have my own little style added, my own interperation if you will. Speaking of practices..... im 15 minutes late so i best leave.   Mikey. (sorry for any mistakes, i don't have time to check through.)
  22. Oh no!! Had to put that one up didn't you! The coughing fit did actually continue a while after i cut that haha! Mikey
