can anybody tell me what to do with 3 nicad fast charger's that until recently were the bee's knee's-now i take it they are dinosaur's--no p.m's or funny reply's as to where to put them thank's.................                ken anderson.

my first engine was a m.e.heron 1cc diesel--young/stupid/didn't know what we doing took it back to the local shop where i bought it from--asked the lad behind the counter if he could help us-told us the secret was to get it "plopping"-and explained sometimes it can take week's to get the thing's going !!!!if i remember correctly this was 1964--i wrote off to the aeromodeller mag asking for help/and they printed the letter..... i then saved up and bought a dc wasp 049........looking back through rose tinted glasses--i want to go back.............short pant's/dope/every ready batt's/solarbo balsa/keil kraft....on and on............       ken anderson the older................

as a safety officer at our club i and my friend's allway's point out to any new member that should their model go awol and crash while someone else is assisting them to learn the required skill's to fly their model aircraft-there will be no blame attatched to the helper/instructor--- it's one thing flying your own creation-you know what has gone on in the construction stage ect-but flying someone's who is a complete stranger can be daunting-as if you don't know them-and they are new starter's/ novice's it pay's to double check there model over-and make sure that the batt's are fully charged...........we had one newbie who thought his bmfa ins covered his model for repair's etc in the event of a crash...............   as someone who has had to claim off the bmfa insurance---take care......     ken anderson...............   p.s.--do you really want to claim off your insurance if your flying someone else's plane???Hard to decide/yes-no..........

hello eric----i owned one of the perkin's pretty's for well over a year-the only prob that i've had was one of the brushless motor wire's shorted out on the outside of the motorreplaced the motor with an old typhoon 6(het) better than original---2200 lipo/20c=at least 30min's up in the wild blue yonder--also it's the plane i use for the flycam..................      it's a bargain-well put together c/w motor and brushless controller(think that's the right name--timbo)...........      ken anderson...........

picture this---1963--keil kraft junior 60 kit for sale in the local model shop 39/6(£2.00)---i used to stand and look in the shop window for what seemed an eternity thinking - if only -my pocket money then was 2 shillings(10p)---it was 1991 when i finally got one .............                 young ken anderson...................

maiden flight carried out 06/03/09 few trim change's to get her hand's off straight and level.................   2nd flight after adjusting engine ok............................   3rd flight lost wheel shortly after take off--bumpy landing-no damage(phew)--also one side of the wing's covering was all loose/comming off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!               ken anderson..........

sorry simon--the stone jungle is a quote that tarzan made in the film---you'll have to watch out for them on the tv(old black and white film's)---back to the diesel engine--the german who is acknowleged to have invented the diesel engine now as we know it was called Otto diesel(first name may be incorrect)he nearly killed himself twice when the early one's exploded----anyway he was suffering financial cramp(people knocking his front door in for money owed)he booked a cross channel ticket---but never got off the ship /boat at our side---believed to have thrown himself overboard....rip...                      ken anderson......................

last night friday-my wife was on-line busy doing some work on our family tree--she has been busy following up/back to some of my relatives in the late 1800's and low and behold there is a pic of my distant family crest/coat of arm's with the saying below ' love malta'...........   the connection is for the last 7 year's we have visited malta-and since the first time we have fallen in love with the place/why we continue to return---is that weird-strange whatever?                ken anderson.............
