sorted it went out got HH durafly auto g great little flier now in middle of converting a 21" fuse from a 3 channel bipe

why extra battery ? and a 6 channel tx will only control 6 channel on a 8 channel rx and battery /bind plug is not a port use a life battery and thats loads of power if you got to add lead in front thens thats different then extra weight may as well be useable above with y lead and taking red lead out is the best way if you just connect to rx both batterys to rx servo jam will bring both battery down flaps mix retract are you able to still have 3 way flaps ? take off and landing

change the prop mount then not all 7x3.5 or 8x4 are gws

go to flaps set to 00 not 100% if it is set to 00 try revesing flap channel 6 you can set 3 stage flaps no flaps take off a little flap landing full flaps and set which 3 wat switch you like

A123 can be charge higher than lipos

best way if you dont want to buy ready made pack but when hobbyking sells them so cheap life packs £2.33 plus postage is get single A123 and solder up 2 cell give 6.6 volts all day flying on one pack

well what can i say apart from a big thank you Jim only thing i had to do was change prop stud which i normaly do to a bolt any way goes loverly 3.5kg pull on 12.5x5 prop great job now a very happy got my little bipe back in running order

i put pilot error as i can not blame my AR500 rx now that HH changed them all i cant say engine cut out as i should be able to dead stick them have had old switch wire gone bad but have to admit most me

the reduction in weight mite not be such a problem COG wise as its all on COG any way you just end up with a nice light one

the only way without buying a flash lead to do it for you on your futaba need to change the leads around on the pots on channel one and three but you will end up with trims in the wrong places witch can mess you up and unless ff9 can put expo on all 4 channels you will not have expo on elevator it does work well i done it on ff6 to use with DX6I

and dont forget prop sizes you 2 motors that take 12" props and got to fit them on end of the wings to fit them in and 2 esc can be a nightmare to get going right

those props use a motor shaft with thread on and lock into the shaft nut

bearings and look in piston sleave is the coating coming off giving poor compression la not the best engine

so when it goes down there will be a big hole in top of wing for air to go down not good idea you need to have flap top and bottom of wing no hole

charger mite put out 5v and then reduce once it under load if you can watch voltage on you overlander when you plug in a 4 pack of aa you see the voltage go quite high until works out what connected and the draw thats needed it dose sound like you got 2 bad change sockets what haapens when you put batteries in ?

before it stopped turning over by hand it had alot of compression before i found the big end bush broken i could spin the prop by hand and would go round 5 or 6 times before stopping to me the dykes ring mite of got stuck in ? now is free to go outwards to seal eighter way i have to get and bush or looks like whole con rod from somewhere
