  1. That will do it. Come on Danny, we all know your next post is going to be along the lines of "The lid fell of the glue and I thought I'd better try a few bits - just to see if they fitted...". Great work Ton btw - I said to Danny this week that I'm really glad you came to the rescue! Edited By Ian Deary on 23/03/2012 22:47:12
  2. OK - this is your second warning Mr Fenton... Step a w a y f r o m t h e A P A C H E !
  3. LOL! Just remember I'm only helping out with a case of memory loss here.   "Simple Gifts" was written by Elder Joseph while he was at the Shaker community in Alfred, Maine in 1848.   For more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simple_Gifts   Now let that be an end to it eh? Hehe...Edited By Ian Deary on 04/01/2011 13:33:42
  4. 'Tis the gift to be simple. (So true.) 'Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free, 'tis the gift to come down where we ought to be, and when we find ourselves in the place just right, 'twill be in the valley of love and delight. When true simplicity is gained to bow and to bend we shan't be ashamed, to turn, turn, will be our delight till by turning, turning we come round right.
  5. Lovely bike fella - I can see why it's hard to give up. I have a set of leathers in the wardrobe and the back of 'em looks just like your slider.
  6. No last minutes names but if you like Spits and funny vids - this one is old but makes me laugh every time. I won't link to it as there's a bit of swearing and it'll probably get Moderated, but if you don't mind an Aussie reporter jeffing - pop over to YouTube and search for "Spitfire Low Pass" you'll see a bloke in a blue shirt about to soil himself...
  7. I gave up my Ducati ST2 when I realised looking at my three kids was more important to me than my carbon fibre pipes. I still remember crying as 'Bob' came to pick it up crushing the underside of the seat to within half an inch of the hugger then dragged the clutch all the way up to the top of my street... I can still hear the wailing...   Despite the nightmares I do keep drooling over GSXR 750's... must be one of those mid-life whatsits? Anyway, here's some sweet sounds... listen through to about 5:00 mins and the guy starts to get a little bit too excited - if you're on here - sorry but it's hilarious.   Best, Ian.   How about "The Shed".
  8. Danny might not, but I'm sure there's a postman that will?   I'll send you a PM about the software - just worried we're wandering a bit here on Danny's build.   Best, Ian.
  9. Hi Ton,   This is Maya which I use at work. Btw - I think Danny owes you a pack of biscuits too!   Best, Ian.
  10. Sweet - you can pick up the Robart pockets I promised you on the way past. LOL!   Biccies... mmmm...
  11. LOL! You've got me so sussed haven't you? I'll loft the rear sections for you this evening after my tea and choccy digestives... (plain not milk btw.)   I think you're right to solve as many problems as you can on the drawing board. It will make for a much easier build otherwise you may as well end up sculpting this as a plug!  Don't give up on the 3D - help is on its way.   Happy New Year!   Ian.
  12. Ah it just wouldn't be a Danny build without the obligatory A123 / LiPo debate...
  13. No need to apologise for being knowledgable and sharing it with us all Danny (yesterday's post) - that's why I signed up to this thread.   Keep going!   Best, Ian.
  14. I'm glad I made your day Danny .   I'll make it even better... if you order your set you only need to hand over your card details, Barbera won't actually debit the cash until your order is ready to go (in March). So you can order now and pay later!   Right, that's enough joy to the world for one day. Aplogies again for the intrusion Herri.   All the best, Ian.
  15. Hi Herri -   Really enjoying your's and Danny's builds, the shaping on your fuselage looks very impressive! I just wanted to let everyone know that the news of Unitract's closure might not be correct. I nearly fell over when I read Danny's post and spoke to Barbera this morning to quickly order a set for my 83" BT Spit... She tells me that they're not closing but are moving to new premises.   They will be dropping some of the custom retracts such as the BT Mosquito and ARTF sets but the majority of the Brian Taylor and Tony Nijhuis sets will continue. Don't mean to hijack your thread but thought everyone should know.   I just hope Tony hasn't forgotten to tell Barabera anything.   Anyway, Danny has forced my order and I'm glad he did as they won't be ready ready until at least March.   Looking forward to seeing more great building. Best, Ian.Edited By Ian Deary on 29/11/2010 10:35:53
