  1. Hi and thanks for the pointers guys. As for the drifting it moves to the right without rotating: like its being blown by the wind but it isn't. The center shaft may well be slightly bent as i did crash it a few times. I am going to buy some spares soon so i will add one of those to the list too.  P.S. David those links are brill . Cheers, Cal

A EDF Vulcan would be very nice and would be a pleasant change from the prop driven models          @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css); Edited By ceejay21 on 01/01/2011 20:55:04 Edited By ceejay21 on 01/01/2011 20:56:59
  3. Great build Stephen. I am so surprised you managed to complete it on Christmas day. Looking forward to better pics and a video of this wonderful aeroplane
  4. Cheers for help again mate. Just downloaded many extra models for it so will be entertained for hours @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);
  5. FMS now works on my windows 7 OS thanks to Tony Smith's help. But there is one little niggle. When i fly any type of helicopter in FMS the rudder changes to the throttle and the throttle changes to what the rudder normally is. This only happens with helicopters planes are completely fine. very weird. I have tried playing around with the settings but nothing changes any ideas? @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);
  6. @import url(http://www.modelflying.co.uk/CuteEditor_Files/Style/SyntaxHighlighter.css);@import url(/CuteEditor_Files/public_forums.css);   I took the plunge and bought my first heli, a E Sky Honeybee 2 Fixed pitch helicopter.feeling very confident I charged the Li-po and took it to a field. On the first flight I crashed many times. I knew it was not going to be easy but it was just uncontrollable. it seemed to drift off to right rapidly and vibrate a  lot. I thought it would be set up from the box but I was wrong.   After recovering from disspointment I looked on the web on how to balance the blades and fly bar. I did this until the blades were level put them back on and balanced up the fly bar. The heli seemed balanced. Next i set up the swashplate so that it was perfectly level.   I took it back to the field about a week later expecting an improvement. the vibration was not as bad but it was still drifting to the right. I was trying to counteract it with the transmitter but it was not working. I tried the trim but then it just went the other way It seems to be way to sensitive. There was not a breath of wind that day so I don't know what I am doing wrong.    Its been sat in its box for the last 6months so I have decided to try again. Any help will be greatly appreciated with setting up and flying. Cheers, Cal  Edited By ceejay21 on 31/12/2010 16:29:08

  8. Cheers again for the help. @Tony Smith 7. I may have to try that sounds like a challenge. Also, Please could you send me that file. That would be great as its a pain to find on the web. And what program would you use to make that file? Edited By ceejay21 on 15/12/2010 17:48:06 Edited By ceejay21 on 15/12/2010 17:49:53

  11. Hi all. Are there any free model flight simulators out there that run on windows 7? I used to use FMS but since upgrading to Windows 7 its been a pain as it doesn't support windows 7 yet. Other peoples ideas would be appreciated Cheers, Cal
  12. WOW, what a bargain. i was looking for one of those a few weeks ago and they were £169!! i might have to buy one even though i have only had my honeybee for 2 weeks
  13. Cheers everyone, i was thinking of a Blade 400 but they are abit out of my price range and birdy i am going to get a copy of Realflight sim as my FMS simulator dosent seem to work with Heli's, it works fine with planes but it changes the controls around for Heli's (moves throttle to rudder etc)
  14. Thanks Mark, i guess i will have to have a bigger box for my spares
  15. hello everyone, this my first post on here so bit rusty I need a bit of help setting up and flying my E-sky Honeybee V2, i have tried to set it up to the best of my ability and its a lot better than it was out of the box, but its still not good to say the least Also has anyone got any tips for learning to fly it properly. I just about managed a 1 foot 'hop' which ended with a crash but to my relief it only needs a new flybar
