Mini Tyro I have recently finished building a mini tyro. One good thing about the plans is that you can make changes that suit you best. In my case the intention was to build a mini electric tyro. --- As the photos show the horizontal stabilizer was moved up to avoid damage to the ground during landings. ---- The size of the rudder was increased to give greater control authority and allow, if desired, the placement of a tail wheel. -----The nose length was increased 3 cm to allow the placement of electronic components and battery. 3S batteries up to 1500 MHA are easily accepted . Batteries up to 1800 MHA can be placed with some difficulty but they fit . A vent to battery compartment was instaled in nose belly . -----The landing gear used was bought in hobbyking , and adapt require a small change in width of fuselage ; PRODUCT ID: 087000033 , the landing gear comes in 3 diferent colors. ---- The wing was increased size in 2 ribs each side. these change give me a better glide ratio and low wing load. I add ailerons in the wing with individual servos and a option to use flaperons. I made just a quick flight , the plane is very easy to flight , no vicious . The made flight was conduct with lots of wind for a plane of these size , so was impossible to make a acurate review . More flight details as soon as possible.
