  6. Here is an unbelievable saw that I have never heard anything bad about! The accuracy is to the extreme for a wood working tool even of the hobby type.  http://www.byrnesmodelmachines.com/index.html?id_mm=1007MM141423 This site operator also sells plywood jigs that use magnetics ... he now uses the Byrnes Saw!  Not cheap but extremely good machine. I plan to get one hopefully as a Christmas Present! Leo Edited By Luther Oswalt on 21/10/2012 04:02:50 Edited By Luther Oswalt on 21/10/2012 04:07:34 Edited By Luther Oswalt on 21/10/2012 04:09:24
  7. Peter - Forgive what maybe a "newbie question from an newly back to the hobby old guy here in the USA. I'm planing to build the Harmong as my next plane. I looked at the article, I have the Hobby Store plans, and am not sure if you used a "std" or a "micro" servo for the ailerons. I plan to use an OS .25 AX engine in mine. Thanks and Thanks for so many great model designs! Leo
  8. Paul, I don't know why I didn't thinka bout Wikkipedia! You are correct there is a world of info there! Thanks ever so much. Leo
  9. PatMac, That is a very interesting site you referenced. thanks very much! leo
  10. There is a plan for the Maltese Falcon on the www.airage.com site in their plans section. It is a modified Goldberg Falcon. leo
  11. I remember the Cox as a great engine and was sad to see it go away. However the Cox International is breathing new life into them and they are the same engine it was 50 + years ago. I was born and raised in Tuskegee, AL. and we (both of us) flew Cox powered free flite models at the by then abandoned Army Airfeild almost every week end. They brought tons of fun and low cost to a couple guys in that little Alabama town. Now if they would just make a nice muffler so I could once again fly my old Cox engines in this noise free area I live in. Note the Harley Davidison Motor Cycle, requires no muffler in the US! Thanks for the article! Leo
  12. Thanks for the reply. I am going on my memory only. I just finished my first model build in many years. Yes it is a Maricardo and the wing is a single peice. It is not the best build I have ever done but it looks nice. I hope to get a chance to take it out soon and fly it. I used an OS 46 AX. Once again thank you. Leo
  13. I thought I had seen where the latest plans for the Maricardo now has the wing join the fusalage with a tube and now is a two piece wing instead of a one piece. Would someone please confirm that if it is true! Thanks! Leo
