Hi all, have written to seller and he says he didnt know they were fakes, he's not a shop only a private seller and he was getting rid of 'unwanted!' items. Told him i wanted full refund and he says why should he be left out of pocket after sending etc etc. Wil bang off another ebay message and see what he has to say.

New Seagull Harmon Rocket III V.2
Mark R replied to Gary Vinten 1's topic in Build Blogs and Kit Reviews
Thats the mark 1 version isnt it Stephen, if it is i can probably guess at weight issue, because the servos are no longer at the rear but inside the fuse probably close to the middle of the fuse, it will mean that there is no balance between the engine and the extra weight of servos in the rear. The mark 2 version has servos in the airframe (in the middle under canopy) and even using an Irvine 53 it balanced perfectly. If you have already added 50 grams to the back i would suggest not adding more. I dont think a 53 size engine will help with CoG as they are generally same weight (give or take a few grams) as most 46 size engines, so you will still suffer nose problems. Are both the elevator and rudder servos in the fuse? If so i would look at moving em back to the rear again. Also the mods that have been are they affecting the CoG making it nose heavy? -
New Seagull Harmon Rocket III V.2
Mark R replied to Gary Vinten 1's topic in Build Blogs and Kit Reviews
Well i have now completed 20+ flights on the Rocket and i am really loving it. Made an alteration, installed a bigger tank up front, as the weedy little one you get doesnt really last when using a 53 engine. The new tank is from an old Black Horse P51 and apart from another adjustment to the canopy it fits well and hasnt altered the flight profile apart from 15+ mins flying (half throttle most of the time). Inverted is sooooo easy on this a/c, little bit of down and its inverted circuit flying, most i usually manage is 1/2 to 3/4 of a circuit if i am lucky, with this i am doing 1-2 full circuits. Landing without any wind is ermm fun, doesnt really like to slow down, but you can grease in some great landings. So if you are looking for a good all rounder, that is a pleasure (bar the niggles i mention in this thread) go and get one,for the price i am still very very impressed. -
To be honest the way they were all wandering around near that spinning prop they seemed to all have a death wish!

Nice paint job....and lovely looking plane too.....will also add my plea to the 'more details'

New Seagull Harmon Rocket III V.2

Well back from the field. Maidened two today. First up was Skyhawk from Alpha Models, wasnt really looking forward to flying it, but once in the air....WOW its FUN!! Next up was ermm oooooh damn forgotten Oh yeh now i remember...The Rocket after a lil tinkering with the Irvine 53, onto the grass and on with the throttle..10 feet later it was in the air. Had already dumbed down the rates and put expo in. Couple of clicks down and right and it was hands off flying. Very happy with the Rocket, very nice plane, handles well and is sooo easy to land. So big thumbs up for the Harmon Rocket V2. Heartily recommend it. -

Hmm please add 'get a' to the title as i seem to have forgotten all about grammar -
Would like to get a copy of a plan so i dont trash the original. Went to Staples, who copied a plan for me a few months ago and it appears they cant do it anymore. Asked the Lass to do largest size copies she could and i would stick it together, shame she had no idea on how to line up plans properly. £5 wasted as none of the plans would line up.
