3d printed Planeprint Eagle. Took it to the field to maiden this morning, but it was really busy, so I'll wait till there's less of a crowd.

Like it.We had 3 of these flying round the other week .

Used to watch the EA channel when Ed had it ,always good stuff and a nice chap.

 

Recently the channel has been taken over by Nathan ,AeroFPV ,who is  making aircraft based on Ed`s techniques.

Phoenix is "abandonware".

 

There's a bunch of guys on RCG keeping it going and producing new models and airfields .

 

They`ll even take requests for new models if there is a specific requirement, though the database is quite extensive.

[3D printers recommended]

Had the Elegoo Neptune 4+ side Christmas. Works great. 3d printing is not plug and play.

[EdgeTX Logs - implications]

Your Speky, Futaba ect will still work with your internal MPM. Just plug the  ELRS module into the  JR bay. ELRS is a solid system ,and lots of Rx to choose from.

 

If you think your MPM internal board is faulty,you should be able to swap it out quite easily.

 

Might just be  a problem with the  MPM antenna?

Coming from a family of archers I have a good supply of used arrow shafts that are either aluminium or carbon and aluminium cores.

They make great wing spars🙂

I have a TX16S with multi protocol board and an ELRS module in the bay.

 

Your MPM board will allow you to bind with a wide selection of other brands including Spektrum. If you get an optional ELRS module you`ll be able to use ELRS Rx which are very reliable  and cheap.

You can scale up the size of the model to make it easier to see.

Finished off the Tom Stanton 3d hover craft.

Worked quite well, the skirt isn't fully inflating so may need to use something lighter?

Check out Microsoft Flight Sim .Its great. Fly anywhere in the world in anything from a Bleriot to a fast jet.

 

You can use your RC Tx too ,to help keep your thumbs working .

You`ll get bored very quickly if you`re a regular flier flying in your comfort zone.
