  1. Hi Danny, I have, but it needs some attention to the wing, but the rest is almost built. If the weather is good I can bring it down to the field for you at the weekend, or if you like I can meet you there to hand it over any day this week after 10am and before 13.00. P. M. Me if you interested
  2. Hi limobob. I am away this weekend but back from Monday, I am in the West Midlands near Wolverhampton if this not too difficult for you

  4. Hi there. Are you UK based? If so I have a one off offer of an almost built one that I have lost interest in going free if you can pick it up. Still a bit of work to do to it but the main building is all done. That goes to anyone interested to be fair. Cheers guys
  5. Good job mate. I must get mine finished this year,
  6. Hi Chris /Danny, brilliant mate, wish we could be there to support you, but as you know we can't be there. What a journey Danny, and you never know, you may even get placed, it. Certainly deserves to
  7. Hi all .I would like to say that when i contacted the organiser of the show to book in as a pilot with the funfighter team, i was promptly told that i could not have a pilots pass and would have to pay full price entry and camping fees, even if i was going to fly for the team. So if that was what pilots were beeing told, no wonder there was not a full variety of models and pilots. That equated to six flights over two days, £60 to camp so £10 per flight minus model fuel costs, travel costs, food e.t.c. No pilots get paid, we do it for the love of our hobby and at our own expence and to hopefully entertain the people who turn up to watch. So we should be aplauding the likes of Team Rouge/Az aerosport/ Global rc/ Cambria Funfighters and as was said in an earlier post, a good portion of the pilots were under 18 years old and most under 30. So where were the more so called experienced pilots supporting the hobby
  8. Looking good S.W. nice planking too. I like the dowel idea to keep things nice and straight I may nick that idea
  9. Hi Martyn, that sounds like a plan 2018,
  10. Hi All. I t would be a great event to fly ,or even maiden them all together somewhere, sometime, like The Master said.(sorry danny) it's like eating an Elephant , one bite at a time. Maybe we need a date/ venue to aim for regardless of quality of finish. what you guys think ?
  11. Hi S.W. t This was NEVER A RACE , So carry on as you feel fit, it will get there in the end. I have just got my chippie out of storage and now looking at fixing the two fus half's together and then the first time of glassing a model fully, so i am sure i will make a few more mistakes before its finished, but as you point out , it is the first time for me doing scale too, so don't worry about it , there is always a way out and no where better than here for help. Yes it can drag on a bit and things don't quite go to plan, but then we are modelers, and that's what we do mate. I bet you finish your's before me
  12. Hi Danny, sorry for the late reply (had to go into work, only just got home ) i am sure i did mine the same as Colin, Terry and Martin . Sorry but it's nice to know your human mate lol.
  13. Hi Danny just looked at mine but i have sheeted it and do not want to pull it off . but i have tried to bend the wire backwards and it starts to bend but feels strong, and cant here any cracking sounds, as you would if it was trying to part company. So i hope i have done this correctly. I hope you get some pictures of one that's not been sheeted yet. I will pull the sheet off if you really need me to but don't fancy it unless i really need to
  14. Hi Danny, thanks, keep us posted on the autopsy
  15. Hi guys i don't mind either as i am a massive fan of both. If it is the spit, I already have a subject. The spirit of Willenhall. It was one that was used to raise money for the war fund. It went into service in 1941 and was shot down over the channel e.t.c. Arrg i haven't finished the Chipmunk yet lol
