Stafford has a military helicopter refuel site and aircraft on night tactical low level sorties will not necessarily be displaying visible light as it destroys NVG vision.

Ok, thanks. I have gone back and looked at the Lado ones and they are soooo expensive, although I am sure they are good quality. -

Are they 120 sized as in they will cope with models running a 120 sized engine? I ask as I have the BH Trojan 120 and I am looking o replace the rubbish air retracts they come with. The electric retracts I have seen elsewhere are £300 for a trike set! -
Top Gun..... America? Yeah right! Alan C disappers to Top Gun and Osama Bin Laden gets slotted.... Coincidence? I don't think so! C'mon Al, tell us the truth about your secret double life as a CIA / Navy Seal operative Sounds like you had a good time, I'm envious.Edited By Shaun Chant on 03/05/2011 10:34:10

Thanks for spotting that, I will do. -
Alternatively have the springs holding the door open and use a tie which goes between the doors but under the travel of the retracting gear to close it. This way the springs almost help the gear extend and dont want to foul the leg.

No definative answer....? Guess I'll have to gamble on bright red then.Edited By Shaun Chant on 28/04/2011 19:07:50 -
What shade of red Profilm / Oracover for BH Trojan?
winchweight replied to winchweight's topic in Warbird kits
Thanks guys. The intention is not a total recover, just a few tweeks such as the tail fin and around the cockpit, so a correct match is needed. I think Bright Red too, but at £24 a roll, I don't want to get it wrong. -

No one? -
As it says chaps. I am trying to modify my BH T28 Trojan 120 as "Suzy Q" and want to recover the fin. But what shade of red is it? I gather that Profilm is Oracover and there are 3 shades of plain red.

Try www.fighteraces.co.uk Phil uses a fantastic soft foam masking tape which you lay in a curve to make the pattern you wish. then mask behind with paper as usual and when you're done you have a lovely soft edge and a great finish.

Ha! I have the new pre production version which is a bit bigger than the current one, but as a penalty it has no manual, artwork etc and any wrinkles will still need ironing out. However, Richard seems a top bloke and is keen to help. Have you seen the on line build on the WR site? It might even be the manual I suppose -
