  1. Aero Commander 200D, G-SONY, spotted on "Plane Crazy" on Sky, earleir this week. On the TV one side had a Purple Dragon (port), the other yellow, and the owner chose which side to approach depending on his mood. Mike Edited By Michael Hickman on 27/06/2012 10:06:26
  2. Hi Carperfect I have both models @ home, but from memory they are identical. I have an old unsued spare if any use? Mike

  4. Hi Shaun I publish a map of the UK with all RC aviation retailers here, with downloads here for TomTom and Google. No guarantees they are all still "live" but I update once I know. happy landings Mike
  5. Hi Carl Congratulations, well done. Happy landings Mike
  6. I think so. If you add the picture back in, I still do not think the link will work. See what the Mods think? Mike

  8. Hi Myron Good to see "your back". Mike
  9. I'm sure the engineers @ BBMF will be taking a look, after this incident, before it flies again. I don't suppose the designers thought that some would still be flying 50+ years later, but so pleased they are. Mike
  10. Hi Andy Many thanks, that was quick! many thanks Mike
  11. Hi Tony Sad news, but at least all safe. Just seen a little bit more here. regards Mike
  12. Hi Andy Type = Trainer? I've used "Sport" but just thought I would make the suggestion. best wishes Mike

  14. Hi all Just added another site HobbyKing UK, due to open next month, according to another thread on forum. Happy landings Mike
  15. Hi David Many thanks for the addition, added to map. Happy landings Mike
  16. Hi Allan Thanks for the update, removed entries. Hi Rentman Added an entry, it is out of order on the second page, used a URL I found on Google as they do not appear to have their own site. Mike
  17. Hi Jon In theory it is perfectly OK, the map seems to display all icons but the list is split into pages of 200, in order of when added. I am happy to add international points, but any to be added would need to locatable on Google Maps. KML files can be imported, if anyone has any links already in this format. It is possible to allow additional contributors to add/correct a map if they have a Google Apps account (must have access to Google Maps). best wishes Mike
  18. Hi flyeruk Thank you for your post, Phoenix are already on the map, but there are two shops near Newton Abbot, and Pheonix are partly obscured by BEKRA R/C. There are other icons I can use but I thought the plane was appropriate, and is only available in blue as standard in Google Maps. Trying a shopping bag, what do you think? Best wishes Mike   Edited By Michael Hickman on 14/04/2012 21:50:56
  19. Hi All Thank you for your comments. All 220 now have links, if known to me. The new map can be located here. Next week, when back at work, I will place an auto redirect on the old page to the new. A bit more on the second page, I think only 200 points can be displayed on one page. So I may have to split in a logical way, or some people may not notice some points that maybe of interest on the second page. I was thinking of England / Other, if only because the size would work. Thoughts/suggestions/additions/corrections appreciated. happy landings Mike
  20. Hi All 118 (>50% of all locations) now have a Plane icon (indicates a web link, if available). NB I have noticed that it displays the points over two pages, split in alpha order, therefore if you are looking for a retailer above S it maybe on the second page. I am thinking of splitting the sites by location, so that each one would be complete on a single page. Mike
  21. Hi All The University hosting my web pages, is removing the server that hosts staff personal pages. I am therefore i the process of editing the current site and publishing new pages on Google Sites. I am not able to use the current "Flash Map", so I am currently populating a Google Map. It's still in progress, most locations have been included, but adding the html required to link to the websites (these use the plane icon) is more time consuming. I will be adding an automatic link from the old map site, once the new one is complete. Please let me know what you think. happy landings Mike Edited By Michael Hickman on 12/04/2012 15:14:08
  22. Hi Ian I think this is the page BEB was suggesting, with staged Flaps. Mike
