  1. I thought that I would try Brain Cube for a set of laser cut parts. Slight problem though - the price for the cutting is 40.09 pounds, but when you go to order it the price doubles!!!! They say this is a website problem, but to me it is a lost order problem. Who else does laser cutting?

  6. Paul I am very pleased that you have got your problem solved. So we have Kate at My Time Media in full knowledge that Air Business are failing to make timely deliveries. Surely "timely deliveries" must be a part of their contract? If so then they are consistently breaking their contract. As people reply to Kate´s survey then she should be able to make a case for cancelling the contract and taking civil action against Air Business? Do you know why Air Business was given the contract in the first place? I would also like to contact Kate direct to thank her for her help, but cannot get directly to her and get an automatic reply from MTM. Nick
  7. Paul Very interesting post. This suggests that RCM&E should have known about this if they had taken up late deliveries when we, the customers, reported their problems. I too have dealt with Kate and found her helpful. Now that the delivery chain is known as having late deliveries can we now expect some action. How about going back to the old disributor and sacking the person who authorised the change? I know what I would do if it was my business! Do not forget that this sorry saga has been going on for over a year now ps Still waiting for my June issue
  8. Funny that there seems to be a lot of mags being delivered. Can this mean that someone has actually done something to help? My June issue still has not arrived though.
  9. Who do we complain to then? Why don't those "further up the chain" make themselves known to us? This problem has been going on for over a year now, and still nobody seems to be able to do anything about it. The problem started when the mag stopped appearing in a silver/grey sleeve. Surely it cannot be too difficult for someone at RCM&E to investigate this? Somebody caused a change. Who was it and why? Nick ps No sign of the current issue yet
  10. Glad to see other subscribers complaining about late deliveries. I have had this problem for over a year now and still nothing is being done about it. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. The only person who has shown any interest is Kate from subscriptions. If you complain to subscriptions all you get is an automatic reply telling you that your query is being attended to. If you respond, quoting their reference number, all you get is another auto reply. Nobody does anything about it though. What is needed is more people complaining in the Forums
  11. Now that a new hand is at the wheel can we overseas subscribers hope for the delivery dates we had a year ago? The current deliveries are at least 3 weeks after issue date.
  12. At last! a result My copy of Decembers RCM&E arrived here in Spain today 4 days after it appeared in the UK shops. I noticed that it had been sent by Royal Mail 1st class post. I hope it stays this way
  13. Is this a record for bad service? I emailed MTM on 10/10 about continual late deliveries of the mag. As of today (apart from a response on the 20/10 saying my query had been "actioned" I have heard nothing and the mags are still received late. This is absolutely intolerabe and I will be asking a friend in the UK to buy the mag and post it to me when my subscription expires next year. So no renewal from me
  14. My Autumn copy arrived here in Spain on the 2/10 and was posted in Spain probably no more than 3 days earlier. Where had it been for the 2 weeks since it reached the UK shops?
  15. I could not agree more about the editors and publishers. They are taking advantage of the fact that we are scattered around the world. If we were able to visit the offices in person then I imagine that something would be done. "out of sight out of mind"
  16. October edition arrived last week. No improvement in service,it seems pointless emailing MTM direct. All I get is an automated reply and nothing else. For several years I received the mag here in Spain within days of it being in the shops in the UK. Then something changed! Will someone please tell me :- 1) What was wrong with the original service causing it to be changed? 2) How about am apology and information on what is being done to improve matters? 3) How about a mention in the mag editorial? You could find out how many other subscribers are getting the same abysmal level of service by setting up poll on the website.
  17. A slight improvement! Latest issue arrived 2 days ago. I hope this is a good sign! Very sorry that MTM has not considered it necessary to issue a statement explaining all the problems and what they are doing about it. After all customers do have rights.
  18. Yesterday I was flying with a Maxpower 2500Mah 3S battery and after each charge I checked the cell voltages on my charger. All checks showed around 4.17V per cell. Except for the last charge which stopped with a message saying high voltage on one cell. A check showed 2 cells at 3.9 Volts and the third one at 4.67 Volts. Is this battery dead?
  19. I am pleased that someone has looked into the problem and, since it has been going on for months, I hope things will change. One question though. Why has it taken so long to discover?
  20. Renewed my subscription at the cheaper rate. Current issue of mag arrived here in Spain yesterday. No improvement in service and no apologies either. Can somebody tell me why the deliveries have been late. All I have had from MTM is an email telling me that overseas deliveries may take longer! Great but This did not seem to be a problem earlier in the year. Can somebody tell me 1) what has changed, 2)The date of posting in relation to tyhe date of publication, 3) when will it be fixed?
  21. Have been given my subscription at the cheaper rate which is good. Can I expect to get the late deliveries sorted out soon please?

I sent an email to Claire at MTM with my complaints and pointed out to her that I did not respond to the first subscription reminder because of the delays (3 issues so far). Then I received a second subscription reminder at a higher price. I asked that in the light of the inconvenience suffered I would like the renewal charged at the lower rate. Guess what? No reply. regards Nick Posting: Nonsense. We do care. Are you in the UK Nick? Pop me an email with your address please and I'll ask our subscriptions manager to check.   23. July issue arrived yesterday as did advice that a replacement was being sent. Replied to that email and guess what? Another automated reply. Still no reasons for delays. Should I renew my subscription?? My Time Media obviously does not care
  24. Still no RCM&E and no response from My Time Media. However a reminder from them to renew my subscription arrived today dated 10/6/14. Something is obviously wrong so should I renew or not? I am going to email this question to them today.
  25. I have sent two emails to subs address. Both acknowledged but neither replied to. Has anyone else had the same experience?
