  1. Just finished building the latest foam Ruckus. The battery straps are too long and won't hold a 4s 2200 battery in place. Anyone else had this problem.
  2. I've had around 80 flights with my Ruckus and am happy with the performance. Changed 3S for 4S 2200 which vastly improved the model's vertical performance. Used 6 channel Rx with aileron differential and expo. Increased the aileron throw for faster rolls and changed wheel bolts to 4mm. Canopy fell off doing bunt so added a pair of 10 x 2mm magnets, problem solved. Also added 1/5 scale pilot to the office. CG midway between points suggested in manual. 3. Interesting mods. I like the idea of the recess in the wings but I am a bit reluctant to start hacking and damaging the wing. Could you give some dimentions of the cutout? Incidently I have a RUCKUS and have found no problems with the undercarriage position. I also us a 4S 2200mAh LiPo with the supplied prop but set throttle endpoint on the transmitter to around 80% to limit the current.
  4. Orange Rx doesnot need a data port as it already has inputs for sensors on the side. It appeard to work with the R820X and a DX6 G2 - see youtube. "How to setup OrangeRx R820X on DX6 G2 black" Has the 820 been modified for DSMX telemetry?
  5. I to have found that the telemetry with an Orange R620X and Spektrum DX8 G2 does not work despite binding several times. I now know why thanks to Dennis, Perhaps Hobbyking should mention this in the product description!
  6. Help I'm confused! I have one of Richard's original RPG plans. It states that the CG should be lower than the thrust line. However, construction articles state that the motor should be as close to the vertical height of the CG as possible. What is the correct location for the CG relative to the thrust line? Ray
  7. The Panther plan calls for the pitch pitch angle to be limited to -1deg to +6deg. Is this achieved by setting the servo arm at an angle to give differential or by using end point settings on a co0mpuer transmitter. Is there some other method that I have missed? Ray
  8. I have seen references to a "DELTA HEAD" for use on autogyros, but can't find much detail on the subject. I'm interested to know how the work and if there are any advantages of this type of head?
  9. Has anyone fitted a one-way valve to the vent line on a petrol engined model?
