  1. Considering a lot of the free plans become wood packs through their respective magazine, I would expect that to upset someone somewhere, or am I being the fool for refusing to reproduce an already commercially available laser cut kit?
  2. Blimey a blast from the past, welcome back and hope it all gets better from here on in
  3. I never get anything model related, they reckon I spend too much on the hobby through the year, ah well at least in a few weeks I'll have some new socks without holes in em
  4. You're over thinking it PV, it's not a scale model, just something scaley lookey likey, rigged wings didn't have ailerons either back in the golden era, but I am not going down the warped wing road for control lol. I sorted the circles, I tried one of those Gyro cut thingies, but wouldn't cut without tugging and that's a brand new one out of the packet! I resorted the KISS principal, a circular bit of waste from lightening holes cut in a rib earlier today and a No10 scalpel, worked a treat
  5. Just as a little reminder of the scale of this thing, and I can't stand it up straight, the ceiling is too low or the floor is too high, one of the two...
  6. I promise this is not a repeat of one the above pics, there ARE rib tapes on there honest gov!
  7. I'm ripping em by hand (frayed edges), I don't plan on painting the model so whatever I do it will be what is seen Thats news to me PV, havn't been there for quite a while
  8. I'm just curious on peoples thoughts here, I am looking into putting on stitches and rib tapes, but don't really want to use the same colour tex as the wing as it is too see thrrough and you would see what was underneath, I am considering doing it in Antique tex instead, a slight old looking off cream colour, what you think?
