Every one of us was blown away by the Tour De France, brilliant. A few of the Photo's I snapped. 7. Posted by Ade Eades (Eadsie) on 17/09/2013 15:51:22: Excellent. Bet you have some stories to tell. I always assumed the 'box on the barrel' was somekind of 'muffler' now i know its a collector of waste particles, left over when the cannon discharges. Very clever. So much to learn, so little time. There are forward facing holes in the 120mm gun which when a shell is fired and passes that container the back pressure is contained within it. When a shell leaves the gun the pressure is released and it forces most of the fumes out of the barrel rather going back into the turret.

Cheers Danny I agree with you Danny I first flew the Gangster 52 powered by a Merco 35 but once I had tamed the model I stuck a Webra speed 40 in the front and that engine made for some exiting flying. I then went on to build the Gangster 63 with a Webra speed 60 and a tuned pipe on the front happy days. Best Eric. I then built this Dave Smith model 54 inch wing span powered by a 90 OS four stroke. Edited By pensioners1938 on 15/08/2013 13:59:34 Eric...Which Dave Smith Model is it??....Dalotel Super Sport?? Andrew Andrew I’m not sure but I do seem to remember the name. Dave Smith aerobatic models where some of the best you could buy at that time without doubt. Dave was no slouch when it came to flying them either. It used to be a pleasure to watch him putting some of his designs to the test
