  1. Sent my dx 6 to Horizon Hobbies on Saturday 1st Feb ,for repair and test, and received it back today Thurs 6th!!! That's good service AND they repaired it for FREE, and it was well out of warranty.Good service deserves recognition.
  2. Cheers David but i was really after a recommended manufacturer,we all have our favourites, wondered which were "in",reliable,if anyone has built a Kyten or flown one, what did they use or think? is there a particular motor/set up to avoid, this is my first plan and electric build so any advice is warmly welcome.
  3. am building the kyten pusher jet from plan,3lb finished weight,44" span, have mailed some shops regarding motor selection, inrunner or outrunner(want to run 3 cell) proto type had tornado thumper c35 42 (1250) 2nd had b36 56 06 gs?(not familiar with?) anyone got any suggestions or ideas, motors props etc?
  4. my appoligies have re read previous mails and got your club site.
  5. tried three times to mail my phone number, still getting an error message?! which club are you?i will mail you there.
  6. Phil tried mailing you twice at the aforementioned address, keep getting an error message?
  7. I have a 4 also,better motor,7v lipo,and 2 new servos,hours of fun!have 2 raptors,but they are so much nicer to fly.
  8. many thanks,looks a bit daunting!
  9. Anyone out there tried for lottery grant money for their club? anyone had success? do you have any info that may help in appplying?would realy like to hear from any clubs that have tried!
  10. Would be nice to see,so would a comparison chart(futaba 9254=jr equivalant......)
  11. name and shame, save us the bad experience,we spend hundreds at shops, what has happened to good service???i live in hull and order everything out of town now because of poor service at my local shop.shame realy because he carries a good range!
  12. I had the same problem(wing servos rubbing on the covering)didnt want the covers standing proud of the wing so i ground the servo casing slightly!(yes i know its not recommended but it cured a problem)Have still only flown once on the buddy lead,so not a lot to report as yet.Instructor says it flies well, should have no problems learning on it and it looks a nice model,he added it doesnt seem to have any bad flying points(even after a dead stick landing)
