  1. Hi Guys, Just a quick note to let everyone know that all of the Greenacres orders have left. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I won't be able to join you again this year but I hope the weather stays nice and you all have a fantastic time. Phill
  2. Hi Guys, I have had a few email about the Greenacres clothing so I thought I would just post on here. The garments are currently in production and will be sent out by courier today/tomorrow. Phill
  3. Hi Danny, No problem. Not a hassle at all. We had a baby 18 weeks ago, she was 3 months early and weighed 505g (1lb 1oz) Glad to say she is now stable and gaining weight fast but has some lung problems which mean she will be in hospital for a good while longer (possibly 6 months) We will have all of the orders produced and sorted very shortly. Thanks Phill
  4. Hi Danny, Yes I got your email thanks, I have been at the hospital for a while and have passed this to my colleague to process for you. Yes, Kevin - order received and processed. Thanks, Phill
  5. Hi Guys, Yes, there does appear to be a problem with the site. I will get my guy to look into it. Just as a foot note - we are about to launch a new site with many more features built from scratch. You will be able to send all of the relevant info and pay by either PayPal or Worldpay and even check stock levels, track the progress of an order and then check the delivery status. This, I am hoping, will be more flexible and much more reliable. Masher - Sorry to hear you have had issues. If you would like me to process anything manually please send me a message on here or email and I will do it for you Danny - Kids size guide here: 2 YRS 3/4 YRS 5/6 YRS 7/8 YRS 9/10 YRS 11/13 YRS 22 24 26 28 30 32-34 Edited By Phill @ Elite Workwear UK on 27/05/2014 18:27:28
  6. Hi Danny, If you go to the second part of the checkout process - after entering your address - there is a message box to add details of extra decoration or you can email me with it once your have completed the purchase and I will manually add it to our job board. We still do kids sizes. It may be a good idea to just email your requirements and I will process it manually (and send a PayPal invoice or take payment by card over the phone) Thanks Phill
  7. Hi Simon. Yes, no text to back will get you the basic layout. If you prefer you can give me a call on Tuesday and I can take the order manually. 01427 810555 Thanks Phill
  8. Pete, didn't you ever read the Penguin guide to photography, page 54. And I quote "if you don't have access to a professional photography studio, lighting and expensive DSLR camera then the dashboard of a filthy old van will do just as well. And if you don't have access to a camera then you can usually buy somthing from 300BC for only a few Pounds off eBay. Be careful to take special notice of the eBay photos of the camera in question to ensure they are also out of focus. This will help put your mind at rest that the seller is of a similar calibre to youralef." Phill P.s. I just made moat of that up, I don't ever recall reading such a book
  9. Hi, Yes, I have set it up now so paypal is an option. I can send you a paypal invoice, you can call and pay over the phone by credit/debit card or I can forward the bank details for payment. I am happy either way. Thanks, Phill
  10. Hi Dylan, I made a boob setting up the product options. Should be fixed now. You will need to remove and re-add the product. Phill
  11. Hi Dylan, There is an option on there to add extra lettering. If you want it on the same side as the logo it is at no extra charge. There are options in the drop downs. I will have a look to see what the problem may be adding to cart. Thanks Phill
  12. Thanks Pete - We always aim to please! We are hoping to get to the show this year (maybe even with our trailer/mobile workshop) however our calendar has yest to be confirmed for 2014. Phill
  13. HI Everyone, David has asked me to provide clothing for this year’s event. I have kept all of the options and price the same. The cut off for guaranteed delivery before the event is Friday 6th June. I have set up the web site with the products the same as last year. **LINK** Here is an image of the artwork with this years logo. Any questions please feel free to ask on here or email [email protected] or phone 01427 810555. Thanks Phill
  14. Posted by Allan Bowker on 11/09/2013 14:42:16: Yes, I love my Parkzone Spit Mk IX too. Looks and handling in the air are wonderful, so glad I went for the retract option. I too have issue with ground handling, stopping her from pecking over onto the nose is a challenge to say the least. A tarmac runway would be perfect for this model. I love this photo a mate took of mine (Credit: Dave Oakley - Dec 2011) You could be forgiven for thinking that was a full size spit! Nice pic!
  15. Just thought I would let everyone know my recent experiences with the Eflite ParkZone Spitfire I bought at the Nats. I have been pondering over one of these for a while and as I came across one for less than £100 I thought I would give it a go. I got the PNP version just requiring a receiver, battery and I opted for the optional Eflite retracts. Once I had found a little time away from the wife and kids I decided to put it together. I must say it went together very quickly. The retracts, as you would expect, slid in with no trouble after trimming the legs to length. When I finally got them the right way round they function perfectly. Plugging in the receiver and battery (with Deans adapter) was the hardest part of the build. Bind and away we go. I took it out for the first time last Sunday and plucked up the courage to maiden it on a fairly breezy day. We fly at a turf company who usually keep the grass very well manicured. I must have a word with the boss though as the grass was at least 2" long and the Spit had a tendency to nose over on take off. I took it to the next field where there the grass had been harvested and took off from the compacted dirt. Only a couple of clicks of left trim and quite a few of down saw it tootling around nicely. After the first couple of circuits I flicked the gear switch and up they went. This did make the flying a little faster and I noticed that it was trying to climb more than before and needed quite a lot more down trim to keep it flying level. It has quite small surfaces which, at lower speeds do nothing to alter the direction the model is travelling, so rule of thumb I would think is to keep the speed up a bit. A few more circuits, a loop and roll later I brought it back for a dirty pass. The gear was down and I came round for the approach. I must say, out of all the models I have and all I have crashed this is the most docile model to land I have ever had. If it’s into wind, level and on course, drop the throttle almost all the way and it glides in at almost no speed and a small flare had it landed, not only in the same field (which is the best I was hoping for) but only about 3 feet from where it took off from. All in all very happy. I had been advised to leave the mock guns off the wings until I was used to flying it. I think they will go on sooner than I expected. I look forward to flying this a lot more in the future. For info: I used – a HK OrangeRx R615 Spektrum/JR DSM2 Compatible 6Ch 2.4Ghz Receiver, Overlander 3S 2200mAH 25C Lipo and Eflite 10-15 size main electric retracts (EFLG100)
  16. Thanks Guys, I have found a company that can supply pre-covered plywood panels for the BIG are we need to cover/replace so that will make it much easier. Flyboy - I have had a look at the kits on the Halfords web site and they look quite useful. I may pop in when I am close by and have a better look. Kevin B - I have had a look for a boat builder and there is nothing local really. Colin - Thats great info - thanks - I will have a look for the places you suggest. It is a little more complicated than I had first thought. Steve - I have had this place sugested by a friend who has burger vans and often uses them to get repair materials. It is going to be a little while before I can get back onto this as the Nats will be taking up all my time this week and some of next. I will report back with my findings. We are having a exhibit at the Nats this weekend so if anyone is there please feel free to pop in and say hi. Cheers all & hope to see some of you over the weekend. Phill
  17. Hi, I am looking for a little advice on fibreglass and resin related products, techniques and suppliers. we have acquired a show trailer. It has some damage to one side, a little like a tin opener gouge. This needs to be patched over. I also want to alter the layout a little, it currently has one full opening side. I want to close this off and have a door and window. Some of the original walls were thin ply skinned with fibreglass but water has got in and delaminated and rotted. I have removed all of the roted wood but need to repair and strengthen the fibreglass. Has anyone got any idea where to start as I have never done this before. Will I need a large quantity of glass and resin? How do I go about making it smooth on the outer surface as I have no mould to work with. Any help would be very useful. Thanks Phill

  19. I had the same thing with my old Futabe FF8 - always worked ok while flying but that was one of the reasons I changed to 2.4 sooner rather than later. Although I suppose off is better than a garbled readout. Had that too. The screen just gets totally corrupt and nothing is ledgable. Good luck with that.
  20. I managed to make it over for the Sunday. Really impressed with the flying and trade. The kids attractions were very good compared with almost every other show I have been to. The fireworks were, and always are, for me the highlight!.. oh - and Ali, and the 2 hovering jets, and the full size bisplay - infact - everything. Well done Steve - keep up the good work - and when are you going to offer public rides in the Mario car?.. I would pay to have a go! Phill
  21. I have a Blade 450 3D that flys great but can be a little smallat distance. If you were looking at the Raptor I would opt for the 50 over the 30 as they are a little heavier and handle the wind better but are just as easy to repair and use many of the same parts (overall better value) - the 50 can be upgraded more readily too. Electric tend to be cleaner and quicker to get off the ground but you will need several packs for a mornings flying as 7 to 10 mins is what you would expect form somthing like a 3S 2200 in a Blade 450 depending on how hard you fly it. Have a word with the chaps at any of the well known heli specialists - they might just have a used model that will suit too. Cheers P
