  3. Will I ever be lucky???? Very nice project however. Count me in as well
  4. Count me in. this is a superb flyer. Seen this flying by anothe club member.
  5. Here are my top 3 choices JU-87 Stuka ME-109DH ChipmunkIt would be nice if all would be IC powered
  6. My votes would be Bloch MB-150Gloster GladiatorStuka Ju87
  7. I have also bought batteries form the Far East (actually from ebay) in order to try to compare them with my EVO 2000 batteries. Now for a 3s 2200 20C pack for £22 (including delivery) I decided to give it a go and see if they are worth. So far I have done about 25 flights with each pack (I bought 2) and I must admit I am quite impresed with the results. The performance I get is more or less the same as my EVO battery packs and after all these flights the batteries still perform the same. there are a couple of drawbacks though: the packs are slightly heavier than the equivelant EVO packs (around 25gr)they tend to get slightly hotter from my EVO packsThe voltage drop is slightly higher compared to the EVO packs (around 0.5V more)the latest will obviously give you a slightly less power when compared to EVO.  I am not saying they are the best of the batteries around but for what they cost they are brilliant. As long as someone is carefull with them (balance them regularly etc) and they operate within the specified limits they will perform as specified. even with the above mentioned drawbacks I can still justify buying them because of the price. I don't know what people say but a battery is a battery. If you give it  the appropriate respect and attention it will last as long (or near) as any other bateries and will perform as any other battery.
  8. Count me in as well. I am a great fun of electric flying although I fly ic as well. It seems that Multiplex has done some good work with this kit
  9. Hi Antony, As far as I remember the P.11 is the open cockpit. I may be wrong on this however. The P.24 was the export version of the P.11 produced for Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey during the 30s.
  10. What I have actually seen so far is suggestions on planes that I see everywhere either as a plan or a kit or an ARTF. Although I am a new builder with about half a dozen builds under my belt, I have been always facinated by plane plans that have nice characteristics and interesting to fly. Jet planes are nice, but not everyone (I believe) would like to build one for various reasons. My vote goes for a mid 30s warbird the PZL P.24 which I have never seen a plan anywhere just yet. The gull wings should indeed make this a very interesting project to build. My suspision also is that it would not be as hard to fly as a Spitfire or any other warbird. I believe this is a nice project to consider as it is not a very well known plane but in my opinion has been overshadowed a lot by the rest of the WWII warbirds.
