Hi Nigel nice to see someone else has a Pheonix 7 I have JR servos and OS 55ax on a pipe rom airs for the retracts haven't flown it yet waiting for the weather to break is the 65ax sam crankcase size as th 55ax?
Received my membership today look forward to seeing you all at a field somewhere in the near future I have a Hangar 9 Pheonix 7 ready to go,thanks once again !
Four stroke all the way it will pull the Katana vertical I doubt if the 10cc gas will ! Horses for courses Allan it all depends on the performance you want from the airframe and also the four stroke will be more pleasant to the ear !
The power in the Laser is amazing I don't think the gas 10cc will have as much power as a two stroke glow 10cc and iam shore the Laser is more powerfull than a 10cc two stroke, the other thing is with a small two stroke you may have to add weight so why not put a hevier engine in with more power.
I have a powerbox sensor switch which has two receiver connections is it right to connect to one receiver as the manual isn't quite clear, dont all shout at once lol thanks

Also people never change plugs for cold weather, after running r/c cars I found that a hotter plug will give you a better burn in the cold you will use more fuel as a hot plug needs more, hence richening up the carb helps when on a std plug.
Count me in I had a Laser 75 in the 90's it flew well in so many models until I stopped flying but now back and I have just bought a Laser 80 in a Katana 50 from Hangar 9 cant wait for the better weather!
I have a Laser 80 and it says to put oil in the sump after every 3 hours, just wondered if this is the case with OS fourtstrokes as there is no mention of it it any OS literature ?
