AS3X/SAFE setting up problems.

Thank you Dennis, I realize that each rx is programed to the relevant model. I think the problem is that according to the instruction manual, The model should be in Safe mode to be able to assign the switch, When bound, it reverts to AS3X mode so I think that is the reason I cannot assign the switch. When I bind it, after that it immediately does the usual double cycling. However, it is set in the AS3X mode. However many times i bind it, I always come up with the same result. The monitor shows, in my case the gear switch is assigned. I have also tried to set up the model on my DX9...Same problem. -
I have set up the 3 position switch B. Now I have another problem!! At position 2, we are on AS3X. Position 1 & 0, nothing , no Safe, no AS3X! The Viper is programmed for Safe as it cycles twice after plugging in the battery. So, what next?!

No, unfortunately not. I have just soldered up a pack of 3 x 3000mah cells wired in parrallel. No PC board so wired in a Futaba plug for fast charging with one of my fast chargers. I have been waiting months for a replacement, so the above was my solution. 50% Increase in capacity, for less.cost.

I have a Spektrum iX12 transmitter, in which the battery has failed...only 6 months old. The pack is dated from 2017!!! Anyway, I have een waiting months for a replacement, so I decided to make up my own pack. Purchased three 3000mah Li-ion cells which are wired up in parallel. Now the pack from the TX has the positive and negative wires wired in to a small PC board. I would like to know the purpose of this. Any ideas?

Hi Mike, I have an Enya No3 fitted. That improved matters quite a lot. So I shall now order an OS No 6 and see how if goes. Many thanks.

Mixture is as lean as it will go. Motor is a profi 76. Prop, a wooden 15x5. Fuel synthetic 14%. Nitro 5%. Plug unknown. So, I shall try a hotter plug and see how that goes.

When I remove the glow clip from my motor, the revs drop. Does this mean the glow plug needs to be hotel or colder
