Thanks for that. Need to get it serviced then.

My 9CAP has suddenly lost servo movement and sensitivity on channel 1. I'm only getting about half of the servo movement I get on other channels, and no movement until stick nearly half way to max.I have checked all settings for rates, expo etc, and the servo graphic on the TX confirms the issue on all model memories. Any ideas?

Compared to every other website I go on, this site takes forever to load nearly every time. Sometimes it just will not load. Also moving around the site can be very slow. Is it my computer? Anyone else experience this?

Building the Nijhuis Lysander

It looks like the Flitecraft Lysander. I have one. I am also building a TN Lysander (very slowly.......). Edited By Steve Woodward on 31/10/2012 21:06:41 -
I'm looking to buy a new laptop to run the Phoenix Sim. I'm not familiar with computer specification, and am confused as to what level of graphics card I should be looking for. Any advice?

Loved the article on the Firefly engine. Is it still possible to get the drawings? Might have a go on the Myford......

Building the Nijhuis Lysander

I received all the wood parts in one package from SLEC and all the fibreglass in a second package from a different supplier. No sign of the plans that should be included in the deal, so I have e-mailed myhobbystore asking when I might get them, although I have the free ones. I had to chase those up as my subscription copy of the Special only had one plan in it but 3 covers!! Printer problem? Trouble is my wife has bought the model for me for my birthday which is 1st November.....and she won't let me start it 'till then!! -
Anyone started on the Lysander? My wood set and glassfibre parts arrived today so looking forward to getting started. The Lysander has always fascinated me after I saw a TV series as a child in the 60s about spy drops in occupied France. I also have, what I thnk is, a Flitecraft Lysander. I bought it almost complete after it had been through a few club members hands. Not finished and flown yet, so might see how the Nijhuis model goes before I take on the bigger one.

I have a variety of hobbies including model flying, vintage motorcycles and classic cars, and I subscribe to 9 different magazines and clubs journals. Whilst I delight in reading all these, storage becomes a real problem. Most issues have something in them that I want to keep, but I'm not a fan of ripping them to pieces to keep just the interesting bits. Surely in these days of everything being in elecronic format, magazines like RCM&E could sell a DVD with perhaps each year's issues on. I could then recycle all my mags and just keep the DVDs for future reference.

Yes please. -
Does anyone know of a model known as the Pioneer. It's a Bleriot type with open frame fuselage. Who made the kit? Anyone got any information on the model?
