we call it the wotouger, wot 4 fuselage and Weston couger wing hence the name, running an ntm 650kv outrunner 60 amp speed controller , 13x8 apce and a 4s 4000mah lipo giving us about 15 minutes flight , being flying her about 2 weeks and she fly's like a dream we cant fault it. we have also flown her on a 6s lipo which makes her ballistic :D. started the rebuild all going well, now covered its a bit of bitsa as run out of covering not much more to do just waiting on a servo for the elevator.

Hi steve never thought of that watt meter showing 300 watts at 29 amps battery was new 2200 3s but did not survive so I can't check it could put rx battery in take pressure off main battery mmmm dave

hi lads theres good news and bad news we took can doo out sunday with a smaller prop reduced watts to 300 launched with half throttle she went off like a scalded cat.she was flew around an trimed out was into flight about 5 mins she was a good way out when we lost control would not respond to transmitter she spiraled down and out of site after an hour of searching we found the remains electrics intact and wing, fuzz destroyed.oh well new fuzz nearly done and we will try again...Dave

Hi steve thanks for that on both points we are already using a pusher prop think i will reduce the size of the prop and try that as for the forplane we had read on ere about down for up but was unsure but i had got it set that way thanks again dave...

Hi steve so if it torque rolled to the left i need washers on top left of moter mount to counter this? Also elevator on foreplane goes down for up??? Thanks dave

Hi bill thanks for that will try it i also put small washers on bottom motor mount used pretactor and the eye to roughly guess 2 degrees. Planes looking good bill thanks dave...

Hi bill is there any solution to torque roll ? Plane not to badly damaged nearly repaired try again the weekend my esc is rated at 40 amps but will take 60 amps peak 4 ten seconds so hope it will cope dave....

Hand launch was without power then power applied wich kicked it over to the left and down have got elevator on forplane down for up is that right? Prop size steve is. A 6x4 apc going to check thrust line . Edited By Dave Coleman 1 on 25/02/2014 13:23:24
