  1. I managed to get hold of a radio with Ethos. With this and a receiver capable of F-Bus, it is possible to make adjustments to neuron II settings. By setting the soft brake to 100%, most of the braking is removed, but not quite all that you would expect with "Brake Off" They still tell me they are working on new firmware, but no idea when it might become available. BC
  2. Peter, Can you turn the brake OFF??, that has been the ongoing problem. They say they are working on it, but it has been going on for months.
  3. I have already tried that, and it did not work... I have just heard from Rich at T9, that FrSky have acknoledged that there is a problem, and are working on revised firmware. Happy Dayz. BC
  4. Has anyone figured out how to turn the braking fully on or Off. Mine is On all the time, and I need it to be Off. BC
  5. It turns out that I was not updating the firmware, as had not ticked a tick box. That now sorted and the firmware up to date. The Lua still does not work with OTX. When you download the latest firmware, it says that you must use the latest LUA, but there is only one dated July 23. What planet are FrSky living on. BC
  6. Tim, I am trying to update a neuron II at present, without much luck. Would you care to contact me to discuss. [email protected] Brry Cole.
  7. Are you sure that you have loaded the correct firmware for the radio, and have you updated the SD card.???
  8. Ron, To be honest I m not sure what the problem was. Derek had all the rates and expo settings in the mixes section rather than the inputs section. I know you can do this, but it is not the "normal" way. I modified his program, to put the rates and expo settings in the Inputs section, and that sorted the problem.   Hope that helps. 9. Yes, Except that it only seems to happen on one model. Also it happens in companion. We will see, I will look at it tomorrow. BC
  10. Ron, I am working on it for him. I am not sure it is the sticks, as it shows the movement in Companion, and he has much the same program in other models and it does not happen.
  11. Derek, I have sent a message. BC
  12. You should get between 50 and 80 Mtrs before you lose control. You Tx Lady will shout at you before that happens, but it is the distance to control loss that is rally important. Walk backwards while you are doing it, as you do not want to be in between the Tx and the model. BC
  13. Mike, I sort of agree, but I seem to remember from when I did the same. Once you have put non plus into a plus, it will not turn on with the 3 finger salute system. I think that is why Scott's vid shows how to do it with the power off connection. It was a while ago though, I am more careful now. BC
  14. Great respect to you Mike, but I don't understand a word of that..... Clive, make sure you plug the Taranis in with the power off. Sorry, you are a bit too far away for direct help. I know from personal experience that Scott's video does work. Good luck BC
  15. Clive, I made exactly the same mistake as you, with a friend's "Plus", and I followed the video, and it worked. Try it again and be very careful. I had two PCs and ran the video on one, and the Taranis on the other. Win 10 worked for me. Where are you?? BC
