  1. Beautiful and skilful aero-modelling. Despite being light this tiny electric ducted fan model is still quite quick and obviously challenging to fly in this sports hall. Built and flown by Andrew White.
  2. Beautiful large 1:6 scale scratch built Avro Lancaster in 'G for George' scheme. It is powered by 4 Zenoah 38cc engines. Flown by Jack Mitchell.
  3. Another gem from the BMFA Indoor Scale RC Nationals...
  4. Maybe not super scale but definitely super-light. Flies like a feather weight...
  5. Crazy flying skills on display in this well rehearsed routine. Best formation flying I have ever filmed...
  6. Not only super scale but flown perfectly in this relatively small sports hall...
  7. One of the highlights of the show at ProWing in Germany
  8. New, larger version of the Challenger from OMP Hobby. 59 inch wingspan, super light balsa and play construction with a high visibility scheme that has been very well applied in the factory. I used the recommended SunnySky brushless motor and ESC with Eolo propellor. Takes 4 standard servos. Can use 4S or 6S packs. I used a 6S4000 and barely used full throttle.
  9. A highlight from the recent BMFA Indoor RC Scale Nationals. The most graceful entry in my opinion.
  10. Goes together extremely quickly because all the hard work has been done including servos hooked up to control surfaces and power system. Always exceptional construction of these OMP models in the factory if you take time to look inside at the neatly interlocked balsa and ply. Runs on 4S or 6S. I went 6S4000 but rarely used full throttle since it is so light. Thanks to those that subscribe to my Essential RC channel and watch my videos which share my passion for all things RC. Much appreciated.
  11. Spotted this at the recent ProWing Show in Germany. New Flexwing type Microlight. Will be available last 2023 from Cefics.com for about 2K Euro apparently.
  12. Demonstrated at ProWing Show in Germany. 3.7 metres wingspan and powered by a Jetcat 550N engine. They say bigger flies better. Have to agree based on this demo.
  13. Powered by 4 DLA 116 inline twin cylinder water-cooled engines with a total weight of 130KG. This model is 1:4 scale. The original Zeppelin Staaken had over 40 metre wingspan. Pilot Helmut Müller and his flying pals Günther and Ludwig did a fantastic job in building this awesome machine. Working radiators provide water cooling to the engines. This model took 3 years to build. 8
  14. Met Thomas of TomJets at ProWing Show in Germany and his team demonstrated the 2 new jet designs
  15. Now that is clever ! Quick demo from Noel at the ProWing Show in Germany.
  16. Fantastic aero-modelling demonstrated in this Avro Vulcan. Built by Andrew White for last year's BMFA Indoor Scale Nationals competition.
  17. Innovative engineering from Rob, the owner of this Airbus A350, which competed in the recent indoor scale nationals...
  18. Certainly appreciate you sharing that. I do it for the fun and challenge of it. Always good to hear people enjoy my work. Start of the 2023 season so lots of interesting and varied stuff coming. Cheers.
  19. One man keeping IC ducted fan jets alive. This Phantom is a Yellow Aircraft kit which has polyester fuselage and glassed cloth wings tails and canards. Built by Adam in 2021. Has six JR servos and was painted using Tamiya paint. It uses an OS91 DF engine with a Dynamax fan and a Weston UK mini twin outlet pipe. Irvine straight fuel and no nitro added. Spring air retracts for undercarriage. Adam uses a Spektrum DX18 for guidance.
  20. If money was no object then this would be it...
  21. Converted my heli into an Airwolf. Only took 20 minutes...
  22. Appreciate the feedback. You learn something new every day !
