  1. I think these MPs need reminding who it was that invented drone technology. It wasn't British Aerospace, Airbus or Boeing. It was modellers, tinkering away in garden sheds, and boy, have we come to regret it!
  2. Yes, that's him! I'll let you negotiate a price with Milnee (original poster). Just let me know if/when you've concluded a deal, and I'll arrange to pop over to Southampton and pick it up. Edit: I don't think there's a PM system on this forum. Tony has my email address, if you want to contact me directly. -- Pete
  3. Paul, I think we might have a mutual friend, Tony, who flits between the UK and France. If you are interested on the H300, I could collect it for you, and pass it on to Tony next time he's in the UK.
  4. I know some people who might well be interested. I've got quite a few old helis - a Morley Bell47 and a 2c, several MicroMold Larks and a couple of Schluters. There are people out there looking for them, and that one looks to be in good condition for its age. Let me check around, and I'll get back to you...
  5. Yes, I've got that documentary tucked away on Betamax somewhere. Excellent programme!
  6. No, its actually single stick. You get the yaw function by twisting the knob on the end of the stick (this is my favourite Tx!) :
  7. Not only is it radio controlled, but the pilot uses a single stick configuration - just like the early RC proportional systems 🤣 -- Pete
  8. This reminds me of an incident from many years ago, when I was a student (although not directly involved)! It was rag week, and a bunch of students came across a relatively young group of council workmen digging up the road. They approached them, and warned them that it was rag week, and a group of students posing as policemen might try and stop them from digging. Next they rang the police, and told them there was a bunch of students disguised as council workmen digging up the road! They then retired to the pub across the road to enjoy the ensuing mayhem...!
  9. I never understood the logic of having one wheel at the front and two at the back! It was always going to liable to tipping over while travelling forward. The Morgan design (two at the front and one at the rear) made much more sense, and whilst they too were not regarded as particularly safe or stable, that was more to do with the ludicrous power-to-weight ratio than the layout! 🤣 -- Pete
