  1. Just found this in garage following a clear out.must be at least 55years old.
  2. Won the plan off Ebay. Thanks for the heads up Shaun. Cheaper than buying the kit.
  3. Thanks Shaun. Looks interesting.
  4. Thanks, its been sold out for ages since West Wings went bust. I've put a comment on Vintage Model Facebook page asking if they will be kitting the kit in future. Looks like they are working their way through the old kits. Cheers
  5. Looking for a copy of the West Wings Aurora glider plan. Cheers
  6. Trying to progress my Dragon Rapide. The plans don't show position of battery. I've looked at various threads and haven't seen any pictures of battery position. Is it right up in the nose or further back ? Cheers
  7. Sent it through. Just let me know if you received it ok as files were quiet large. Cheers
  8. Hi , I have a copy of magazine. Could scan article and email it to you.
  9. I bought one from Nexus modelling supplies. They do a USB charger as well.
  10. There's a thread on RCGroups.com about fitting a brushless motor in this kit. Might be some use. Thread is by captainborg.
  11. Hi, just seen this post. Are they still available ?
  12. Thanks for all the replies. Will look at fitting it in a International 1 metre or a Racing Sparrow boat. Safer to have it on water than flying in the air. Cheers
  13. Hi, I have a Futaba Attack Sport FP-2NCR 2channel set that I bought in the 70's. 27.255 MHz frequency. Is it possible to still use this ? . I wondered if it could be used in a sailing yacht if not in an aircraft. Cheers
  14. Its actually routed out. The ply is 2mm thick but the cutouts in the trailing edge are still 3mm wide for 3mm balsa wing ribs.
  15. I think if you mount it as a X, you need to move top two mounting holes about 4mm in and cut arms to suit to clear inside of cowl. Bottom two might be ok.
  16. I've just bought the two motors from 4-max. The only problem I see is the x frame mount for the motor is too big. It will stick out of the cowling if the motor is mounted forward for prop position. I also managed to buy years ago the motors specified on plans but with a different gear ratio and got a replacement kit with correct ratio.
  17. Just got the short kit from Sarik Hobbies for November 2020 plan, Quickie Ghost. Fitting Servo's instead of Ghost actuator. Looks a nice simple build.
  18. Got my kit last week. Look forward to building this.
  19. Just ordered plans for the Islander from Sarik Hobbies.
  20. Offer still stands if you want it drawing up, even hand drawn on drawing board.
