I remember him saying its a strong plane because he had a bad landing in it and it cartwheeled the only repair was to the wing tip seen in picture, another 2 planes he gave me but I was to scared to fly because I liked them was a massive vintage plane think it was called a bull dozer or a double dozer and the last was a 4 channel super sixty he said he wanted me to learn with ailerons , do you remember these models?

Amazing! I will speak to her in the next couple of days and mention you to her , ive pmd you , have a check make sure you've got it

Yep Dave Mason ! He helped me out loads with trying to fly over a couple of years , every time we went out in his car he had to rock the grand montego as he called it backwards and forwards until the starter motor would catch , he helped me fly another plane of mine which he had to load the nose with more lead on than the local church (his words ) he said to my mum at the time the only reason the plane took off is with my wishing alone haha , getting that plan would be brilliant, now you know why I would like some help with it , I will pm you and find out if we can arrange for you to have a fly and maybe help me with it , it deserves to fly again , I still see his wife quite abit did you meet her ?

Oh wow yes that's the numbers on it , how do you know the numbers ?

Its still got all my old stuff in it ,but standard size servos from 15 years ago , wouldn't take much to get it ready , does any one have a contact around bishops Stortford hertfordshire that would help me fly it ?

Help needed with Lipo charging
Steve Fisk replied to Steve Fisk's topic in Electric Flight for Beginners
How long will it take to charge , I have a balance charger , it's in a model plane , what can I buy to see what state the battery is in ? I have a multimeter but don't know how to use it for volts ? Really grateful for the quick replys -
right so I'm abit nervous with charging my lipo , it's a 2c 350mah 7.4 , is it right to select 2 cells charge at 0.3amps 7.4 , says the charge finishing at 8.4 , how do I know when the batterys ready to charge again ?
