Depends on make and model of car. I bought a Rover 25 on a 52 plate with 24000 on the clock, I had the car for over 5 years and only spent money on 2 tyres and a middle box. I now have another 2005 on a 54 plate with only 39800 and it is a dream to drive. They never were a boy racers car, and they never were bought by attention seekers, usually second car and not abused. So there are still bargains in private sales but doo your homework. John H

I get my insurance through a well known insurance comparison site ( love meerkats). I renewed my insurance in May with a new (to me) company. I then got renewal documents from my existing company, I phoned them on 12/5/17 and informed that I no longer required their services, I also wrote on the documents that i did not want their insurance and returned the documents to the Post Box number in wolverhampton. Yesterday i received insurance from this company despite phoning and returning their documents, thay had taken over £300 from my bank account, I have phoned them and spoken to customer service and returned insurance documents and got proof of posting. I now await them returning my money, all this after I cancelled automatic renewal last year

1) Does every car salesman/women have to point out the dangers of driving. 2) Does every bicycle salesmen/women have to point out the dangers of cycling. Almost any action "can" cause death or injury if being done irresponsibly. Look at .22 target shooting by sportsmen, they had thier guns banned and has that stopped people being harmed by firearms...NO! Does all the legislation regarding drivers and cyclists stop people being harmed by cars and cycles...No! Legislation NO Education YES

I use an Imax B6AC+ Dual power A dual 240-12 volt input which is a great charger for home and field use with a 12v battery. Not the cheapest but worth the money if you buy from a reputable dealer. Give auction site a miss as many are fake, as I found to my cost.
