  2. I did see the Mig one, what was he thinking??
  3. Bought a 1971 solarfilm nebula kit. Obviously been started as the wing had been joined. Seller snapped wing in two in order to fit it back in the box....

  7. https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=IBEAUMAR3#history Posted it in the build thread but I guess more will see it here. Very accurate direction and speed for the Orme.
  8. Wildthing Pretty much taught to fly on one and it's managed to get me back flying again after 20 years out. Was blowing 70kph on the orme and it went out no issues with a bit of ballast. Will also float about in not very much. Great all round model.

  10. For anyone attending I have found this weather station shows accurate and instant direction and wind speed https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=IBEAUMAR3 The one in Llandudno must have houses around it as the direction and windspeed is always way off. Or if you're on the prom there is a handy weather vane on the corner of Clarence Rd and the Prom look up and see where the dragon is pointing Forecast is 15kph which will provide plenty of lift from the slope just past the "rest and be thankful" on the left (narrow concrete track, you can't miss it)
