Hi Geoff,So did the ladies of the 50s have tattoos, body piercing, pumped up lips, breast implants, whitened teeth, and any other body alterations,i dont think so,thats what i was meaning really, women and society has changed a great deal, although i wasnt around then,i have the information from grandparents, back to the hobby now,i was told there were far more clubs too. -

In 1982 ish,i used to fly control line, not for long, due to lack of bugs bunny,as in money haha,i used to watch the modellers fly there rc planes, over at fearnvilles fields,in leeds 8,and they were forever getting"shotdown" apparently form the cb radio band,27 meg,it seemed quite commom back then. -

hi steve, how are you, long time no see, have you looked at solartex, remember the low wing super 60 i had, which you maiden flew for me,that has a slight sheen, but not too glossy finish,i think it may be as close as dam it in what you are looking for, regards sonny. -
sorry stephen i mean.

Yes i agree paul, some people just cant face facts,il keep my opinions to my self in future,it can be hard work on here, lol.I dont even use spektrum anymore hahaha,in which im really glad of,regards sonny.
-
I like your platform for building dave,i may adopt that method.
-
mmm well, hows about seeing how many faulty txs Als hobbie receives a week.am i correct in saying they are the only repair centre for spectrum in the uk,or is it fake news im hearing again,in which the poor customer service provider spektrum is,and i will vouch for that, when my DX6 was sent to germany, then the US,because the germans could not repair it for some strange reason, then back to germany, then back to my local model shop in leeds,so what does that tell you gents, lol, rubbish customer service, and just remember, the customer is always right.have a nice day lol.
-
Is it just the case of finding out who supplies the components, and of what cost to spectrum, then comparing with other manufacturers the components they use, then it should be a case of bobs yer uncle, fannys yer aunt!!

On the subject of drones,i hope they dont end up causing us ant headaches, with recent incidents!!

Id of thought reading the failure/faults in black and white shows evident enough,i go by what i read, and hear, from people with past poor experience,of which includes myself, and very little complaints,if any of the other leading brands such as futaba,i put it all down to luck of the draw, theres always going to be an amount of faults in mass produced products, especially with Spectrum lol,i rest my case,Happy landings gents...sonny

I reckon the proof will be in the pudding nigel, just view all previous forums over the years,on here, and other sites, and you will see spektrum coming up,as the most failures, compared to other brands, one of the clubs i fly at,wont entertain spektrum, but each to there own.i suppose. The brand,on previous readings, has had recalls too,on certain txs,i always thought recalls were mainly carried out on cars, but thats a different subject haha.

sorry,stephen smiths comments i mean
