Hi Everyone,I have to totally agree here with supertigrefan,when i flew with spekky i encounted nothing but problems,main board going,six weeks before i got it back(repaired under warranty)it went half way around the world,talk about a poor service,i reckon a lot of people would be leaving the hobby if other brands had the same amount of faults,but dont get me wrong,some have been lucky,and not had issues,so they are fortunate,since i now fly with the horus x10,i think the quality is hard to beat,on a £345 radio.

I have the bosch IXO,ONLY 3.6 V,But i find them compact.easy go in the toolbox,ideal for wing removal screws,and if you buy the hexagonal drill bits good for drilling.

compliments on the fabrication work,very tidy indeed,i take it you have vast experience?

to add to that pete,it takes me three days to come round after going out,which is why im lucky if i go out once a month,or every six weeks or so,could be longer if im busy with a build.

I totally agree with you there pete,thats where your money goes,if you go boozing a lot,for what you can spend on a night out,especially in city centres,you can but a model!

A man definately needs a hobby,or we would go barmy,well,i know i would hahaha.

After i pay my share of what goes into the joint account for the mortgage and bills,then whatevers left in my current acc,and my savings,i can spend what i want,on what i want,its the only time i can switch off is when i am in my man cave on a building project,

I take it thats a full size one,so us misters can actually sit in it,and id be expected to have a years worth of flying lessons at a field of my choice,hahahaha.

Hi Guys,I dont suppose anyone has a template of the fuse sides i am rebuilding my acro i crashed some time ago,the fuse towards the front end was a total right off,so i am going to rebuild it and could do with the outline,as no detailed plans are provided,cheers.

Are the phone masts to blame?,do the authorities/companys who erect these,test them for interference,it may be something to do with the environment which is effecting 2.4,just saying!

Exactly the same happened to me when i was flying spektrum,not anymore though,i have the horus x10 now,far better value for money.Again,spektrum,renowned for nothing but problems,not always pilot error fault.

Hi Percy,Ive never used the aliphatic pva,whats the difference with white pva?

It makes an excellent filler,if any of you havent tried it yet gents.

I enjoy the nostalgia,i often wander how the hobby will change over the next twenty years or so,they may of built over all the fields by then,you never know.

Hi Gonzo,hope your health improves,and i dont,or wont be doing marriage,it doesnt guarantee anything,and theres just too much temptation,its like trying asking a dog to leave a bone alone,im sure you know what i mean,did you go through a womanising phase when you were younger ,i did,im nearly 51,and given the chance id love to be 21 again anyday hehe

Hi Nigel R,I dont mean to wish my life away,but id of loved to experience the partying culture of the 60s and 70s,and the hobby culture of course.

Im also assuming people had more time on there hands in decades gone by,as to scratch build been the norm back then,and the ARTF been the market leader today,attitudes change over time i suppose,but i do favour an hand built model,as you know,it gives you the pleasure knowing you built it as its flying,its a personal thing,i think,although ive only built three super 60s.

i admire all you gentleman who have had the patients after all these years,because you certainly need that if you scratch build,and you must all have deep pockets too,so you must of done well in you careers,well done,i look at some model aircraft nowadays,and id have to remortgage my house lol!
