  2. There are these they are listed as 1mm (1/32" ) the correct conversion for 1/32" is 0.79375mm so they might fit. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Boltstore-Split-Cotter-Stainless-Steel/dp/B00SJ66ZUQ/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1501584097&sr=8-15&keywords=split+pins+25mm Ray Edited By Ray Farrimond on 01/08/2017 11:49:54 Edited By Ray Farrimond on 01/08/2017 11:50:19
  3. Posted by kc on 28/07/2017 12:46:32: At the moment it's the actual plans that are more important than the magazines. That`s why I made room for the plans and left the mags behind. I felt that the plans were more important even 30 years ago. Ray
  4. I agree with john stones 1 the mods have a hard job and do it well. I was a mod on a site not related to r/c for a number of years and we had set rules that we had to act on and guide lines that we could use our desecration on. A few times I had to upset people I had become very friendly with and sometimes it was something I agreed with but was against the rules. Ray
  5. I still have every plan from every magazine I bought, unfortunately due to a move to get work I left the magazines with a family member never to be seen again. I am now slowly finding the articles to go with the plans I am interested in building. Ray

(loosely) any unmanned aircraft or ship that is guided remotely: a radio-controlled drone. 3. a person who lives on the labor of others; parasitic loafer.
  7. Drone noun 1. the male of the honeybee and other bees, stingless and making no honey.
  8. Hi kc, thanks for the info. I am slowly learning about these motors and will get there sooner or later. I managed to get hold of a copy of the mag that the Radio Princess came in. Over the years I managed to keep all my plans but lost the mags so am building them back up as I need them. Ray
  9. Hi Denis, I looked at the 4max site but at the motors didn`t think to look at similar models will remember that for any more I do. Still trying to get my head round electric having only done ic before. Hi Ken, thank you for that. Not really looked at the BRC site before but it looks like that is just what I need. Ray
  10. As per title can anyone recommend a motor esc combination for the Radio Princess that was a free plan in Nov 1988 Radio Modeller. The plane was 56" wingspan and for 1.5 - 2cc engines. I am nearly at the point in building this where I need to decide on the motor etc. The original with an OS15 and 3 channel radio weighed 2 1/2 LB. Thanks in advance for any help. Ray
