  1. Posted by Beth Ashby Moderator on 13/08/2020 15:40:20: Hi all, To help clear up the confusion I wanted to lay out the situation for you. For a while, our distributors weren't able to get our magazines overseas, this meant that subscribers anywhere other than the UK missed May and June. We have extended all of these subscribers current terms by 2 so that they receive everything they paid for. We also opened up the digital archives so that the May and June issues could still be read (and all other years). This is only available through this website - not pocketmags - (ensuring that you have your current subscriber number saved into your profile) click on magazines at the top of the page and then RCM&E. This has been automatically turned on for all overseas subscribers. Posting resumed with the July issue, although I am finding it's taking longer than normal to reach you and it hasn't been uncommon for it to take 3-4 weeks to reach US/Australia. MrWood - I have PMed you separately to look into your subscription. If anyone has any other queries in regard to this, please email me [email protected] and I will reply as soon as I can. Beth Edited By Beth Ashby Moderator on 13/08/2020 15:41:57 I find it highly annoying to have to find this on the forum. This should have been emailed to people outside the UK. I was waiting for the backlog of issues to arrive at my doorstep at some point. Time to start emailing again. (I've never had a response on any email send their way)
  2. Posted by Piers Bowlan on 26/11/2017 18:42:48: Judi Jetstream looks fun too and the Judi Seajet is enough to start me building in Depron! Plan for the Judi Jetstream can be downloaded from Aerofred. I've made my first album with some photo's of my jetstream build. I'll open a buildthread at a later date.
  3. Posted by Piers Bowlan on 26/11/2017 17:11:12: Minze, that is an interesting selection of models to finish. Seamaster, I haven't done any water flying for a while but so much fun, I still have my Puddle Master e-amfibian. Is your Jetstream a Jetstream 31 scale job or something else? Welcome to the forum from me too. I will have to clarify the jetstream It's not that one. but this one. I didn't realize the "other" jetstream was the real deal. It's from the same designer as the judi jetstream.
  4. Posted by McG 6969 on 25/11/2017 18:43:48: Hallo Minze & welcome to the forum. There are a few regular forum members around from The Netherlands, but I guess I must be the only Belgian one... You could share your builds here together with a 'full pictures' build blog... I'm pretty sure not being the only one around to like build threads ! Cheers Chris Well for this winter I decided to actually finish some models that have been waiting for too long to be finished. seamaster libelle evo v2 Jetstream Also my wife is building a puma (formerly by robbe) So if we remember to take some pictures I could start a few buildthreads this winter. 5. Posted by kevin b on 25/11/2017 18:34:50: Hi Minze and welcome. Model flying family ? Upside. No problem justifying a new model. Downside. Keeping it to yourself ! You left out : fixing their planes when they crash..... I can dream up all the parts to the robbe charter by now.
  6. Hi there, I already responded on the latest poll thread and didn't notice this section. So here's my delayed intro. I'm 41 & from the Netherlands and have been (re)building/flying since about 6 years ago. For the last 4 years I've also been teaching the newcomers to our hobby. We actually have a whole students program within our club. For the last 3 years those newcomers have included my 2 kids and wife. Talk about a family hobby (for better or worse) Regards,
  7. I started my flying career with with a kit of the Robbe Charter thinking it would be a good idea to know how the thing is build so when repairs would be needed I would at least understand the planes construction a bit. Also having the plans 1:1 scale helped reproduce parts that weren't cut accurately. After that I've build planes from plans and a kit here and there. The number of ARF planes I can count on one hand. I like building too much. Too bad I'm in a minority. Edited By Pete B - Moderator on 21/11/2017 08:58:50
