  1. Great, I've ordered some nitrile gloves and will try the baking power as well. Thanks Guys!
  2. Good to hear they work. I managed to bond cling film to my desk thinking it woud form a non-stick barrier between my desk and the foam wings I was gluing with Cyno. When I read about the flexible bottles above, I wondered if this type of flexible glove would keep the Cyno out!
  3. Interesting reading, I've just witnessed the cyno foaming with think cyno and activator (both smell). And felt it on my hand where it felt like it was burning, possibly the heat of fast curing, or possibly the foaming/bodning grabbing at my skin. It wasn;t very pleasant anyway! Which brings me to a question I've been meaning to find an answer for. A quick websearch didn't help, so i thought someone here might know. Are there any gloves you can wear when cyno'ing? The biggest problem is likely to be the cyno sticking the gloves to your hand, and therefore making the problem worse. Or do modellers tend to try there best to avoid getting glue on there hands and using debonder to remove any that does?
  4. I learnt to fly mode 1 at the Wereham Model club in Dorset.   I flew mode 1 until I learnt Helicopters about 4 years ago, when I switched to mode 3 (I think).  I started tyrying to fly Heli's with the swash plate on 2 seperate stickes (mode 1), but soon switch to mode 3 so that my swash plate is on my left stick.  Soon after I converted my aeroplanes to the same, so I fly elevator/ailerons (left) and throttle/rudder (right).   So nowI fly mode 3.
  5. Yes, that chart is very useful, thanks.  In fact it shows a 4 channel receiver that works in 7 channel mode.  I see that on the purpose built 2.4GHz transmitters, instead of a manual switch, compatibility is via a screen selection.  I would still like to know why this is and also if other systems need to switch between 1-7 and 8-14 channel mode.
  6. As the description says, why does there need to be a switch on the FF8 module to make it work with 7 or 8 channel Futaba recievers?  Does anyone know, or have a link to an explaination? From the manual it looked like it was the same for the 10C transmitter, however this will operate the 6,7 and 8 channel receivers, not just the 7 and 8 channel like the FF8.  The FF7 module only operates the 7 channel receiver as far as i can remember. Are other manufacturer systems the same? Spectrum, etc.
  7. Had 2 Middlephases, I'm sure this would be just as good, but maybe not as a lope sorer
  8. Not sure if I have already entered this one or not. Here goes anyway.
