  1. You can get led tubes to replace the flourastent type, they come with a new type of replacement starter
  2. Regarding the doorbell, I don’t know the type, in the end they gave up, removed the battery and you now have to knock!!!
  3. That seems incredibly bad design if an individual unit is not unique paired with its controller, it more aligned to the old 35MHz tx when u had to select your channels to avoid interference. it does remind me of a problem my neighbo had with there remote WiFi front doorbell which would ring for no apparent reason, turned out it was the remote key fib on my land rover which would activate the front doorbell each time I opened or closed the car
  4. There is nothing obvious with the browser settings that cause the issue, it was working and now is not
  5. I have to agree the new viewer is not good, Unusable on win 10 Chrome at the moment with An Error Has Occurred I'm sorry but we can't process your request at this time (bad referrer)
  6. You could try here https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32997192004.html?spm=a2g0o.store_home.productList_10238513.subject_2 I recently purchased some small screws. delivery was about 2 weeks. Wide choice
  7. Andy, Use the Path, Trace bitmap commands in Inkscape, you may have the play with various options to select the best one for the graphic you are using. I use it all the time to produce vector outlines.
  8. I flipped one of the flap servos and used a Y lead on mine, endorse the issue with funcub which either needs another channel or a servo reverser, my P2000 glider is at least designed to use flipped servos on the flaps Edited By Tim C on 22/08/2020 15:25:15
  9. You can view it online at dplay.co.uk
  10. This is my PSU, it’s a 400w ATX computer psu liberated from an old tower pc, I have added a volt/ amp display, not very accurate though, and replaced the fan with one with a blue led, gives an earie glow And acts as an on/off Indicator, stickers and paint optional. It’s given 6 years service so far.

  13. Peter, That pilot looks very much like a 3d printed version of you.
  14. Great job Peter, let’s hope for a plan published soon
  15. Success today, moved the CG fwd about 8mm and added a bit of right bias in the trim and side thrust and 20% rudder to aileron. Probably overdid this as it required left trim! All very sedate scale like and steady. Landing at a snails pace. Some fine tuning on the trims will help and some more cooling slots to the motor, the added lead is blocking the cooling exit, all in all well pleased, had a total of three flights. YouTube
  16. Stage 2 was to add some Velcro straps, comes with built in level, maybe useful if your setting up a gyro, and a hook to weight it if you want more stability
  17. I have checked the cg, it was on 65mm from front of LE, the black x, now moved about 8mm fwd , the pencil mark. one wonders if the chord is measured from the front of the slat or the le. If you include the slat, the chord is 260mm, 25% would give 65mm from the front of the slat?

  22. I tend to agree, the cg set on the Rcme plan mark which is fwd of that on Peters hand drafted plan, I have added some nose weight about 55gm, but have yet to put the wings on to check on the cg balancer. I have also checked for any trimming issues which give a left bias, as was unable to check any trimming on the test flights
