  1. Hi all, And thank you all for your many suggestions. It does seem to be a hole in the the market for a decent pair of well designed winter gloves aimed at the RC flyer. To save our cold pinkies. I do agree with "Lipo Man" I do find it hard to wear gloves when I fly. Also, one thing that has come across with many of the answers is we like to feel what our aircraft/glides are doing between our fingers. Hmmmm Lipo powered hand warmers and gloves as " Ieccyflyer" says, I believe but haven't tried myself, they can get uncomfortable too warm when flying. But, I guess they are both and not so good ones on the market. See eBay! However, as has been suggested they could be very useful between flights! I think I,will give this a try and chop off the end of fingers of neoprene type glove, and see how it goes. That's until we get a pair designed just for us! Thank you all, Dave.
  2. Hi all, Hope everyone had a good Christmas and looking to the New Year celebration tonight. My question is, and I do apologise if this subject has already be raised recently. Winter Flying gloves, can any recommend a decent pair of gloves that keep your hands toasty warm while flying. Are they any such gloves out there (and I have looked at most UK model shops) which have been designed for winter RC model flying. I'm sure I'm not the only one trying to fly with ice cold hands 🥶 Dave.
  3. Thanks Delks, January and February. Really looking forward to seeing it published. Your revamp design does seem to be getting a lot of interest. Dave.
  4. Hi all, After returning to our wonderful hobby the Chillibreeze just the idea model to get me back into aero's. And the right size with a span of just 48", so Yes I'm excited, not bad for a 63 Year old! Does anyone known when it be in RCM&E, I hope before Christmas (oh should I say that word?) Anyway, looking toward to seeing it. Dave.
  5. Hi Peter, Just started my hound dog build. I'm back into aero modelling and have learnt myself to fly over the last two Years. Much better than I did in the 70s! I needed a model to learn to do better aero's. And think your hound will be most suitable. Started my build today, wings first, I see the little problem with cut out on the inner few ribs. As you say just a bit of packing should sort it. Anyway, thank you for designing a interesting model, I've followed a few of your posts for a while now and your a credit to our hobby. David, in Durham.
