Morris Mini Motors has not closed down. Their website is alive and well. https://www.morrisminimotors.com/ They still do conversions. They moved to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada just 3 hours drive from me. Maybe someone can confirm this: they used to be in the UK(?). Thanks Fred

Also note that the later black carbs have 2 o-rings vs 1 o-ring in the early black carbs and the purple carbs.

You're right Brian. I did some more digging and I found a black carb with the same high speed needle as your picture. Obviously this was an early version of the Laser carb and I have both versions that I didn't know.

Hi there. That's interesting. All my purple carbs have the high speed needles like your picture Brian. However all my black carbs have the a different high speed needle. They are more like the picture posted by Chris. My Laser 155 has the black carb made by Laser. The purple carbs were made by Irving I believe.

A woman visits her husband in prison. Before leaving, she tells a correction officer: "You shouldn't make my husband work like that. He's exhausted!" The officer laughs and says, "Are you kidding? He just eats and sleeps and stays in his cell!‘ The wife replies: "You liar! He just told me he's been digging a tunnel for months!"

Hi Scott. I'm also slowly working my way back into the hobby after an extensive break (>20 years). It's still okay to use NIMH for the older transmitters. I'm doing that for older transmitters Multiplex and JR. My new transmitter (Jeti) use Li-Ion. If the manufacturer have different recommendations for their newer transmitters then I would follow that. For receiver batteries, I have switched over to A123 batteries or LiFePO4. They work very well for me.

A Married couple in their early 60s are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic Little restaurant. Suddenly, a tiny yet Beautiful fairy appeared on their table. She said, 'For being Such an exemplary married Couple and for being loving To each other for All this time, I will grant you each A wish.' The wife answered, 'Oh, I want to travel around the world With my darling Husband.' The fairy waved her Magic wand and - poof! - two Tickets for the Queen Mary II appeared in her Hands. The husband thought For a moment: 'Well, this is all very romantic, but an Opportunity like this will never come again. I'm Sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 Years younger than me.' The wife, and the Fairy, were deeply disappointed, But a wish is a Wish.! So the fairy waved Her magic wand and Poof!... The husband became 92 years old. The moral of this Story: Men who are ungrateful idiots should remember fairies are Female..
