  1. Many thanks - I was aware but the process at my end didn't seem to complete properly hence the duplication- apologies and thanks
  2. It had to happen – I finally bought (pre-owned) a “plane” I don’t like – this is too much of a glider and less of a sailplane for me – flies very nicely in the hands of an experienced glider pilot (yesterday). Bit of hangar rash nothing to affect flying Here we have a good condition example with a brand new spare prop and I seem to remember some other spares but I will have to dig for these Priced to sell collection only for now as I think it’s too fragile to post including spares value £25? Wing bags available for £20pr one is sleeved to take the 2 “poles” PRICE £95
  3. I'm sure I speak for many in appreciating your efforts..............
  4. New Price due to purchase of another kit £185 Incl postage
  5. IMHO - other perspectives are available 🙂 Buyers are confused and don't like it It appears cash on collection now cant be done as how do eBay get paid Sellers have to wait far too long to get paid (thats assuming the buyer doesn't dispute or damage the item within 48hrs of receiving it) EBay make a fortune globally on the funds they are holding to your order. EBay community posts seems to suggest that private sellers are going elsewhere so let's see what happens - if eBay sees this as a trend the rules will change again. The way they announced the new free selling process in Jan February was the winner but clearly not for them Happy flying
  6. Here we have a truly as new kit just look at the pictures - this hasn't been disturbed at all in its life the box alone is in fantastic condition indicating the care with which it has been stored over time. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have just bought an 82" Cub and don't need two yellow perils in my life - also this is a quick build and that aspect doesn't appeal to me. If you look at Flair Kits in general and what they are selling for its probably worth more than I'm asking but I will be happy and I hope you will be with the price which INCLUDES insured UK postage PRICE £195 including UK Insured (£150) Postage NOTE - I have two untouched 2m rolls of yellow solartex bought for this model which can come with it for a further £40 which is well below the going rate and less than I paid for them!
  7. I accept that others may have different experiences but for me its a total waste of time at my end today added to which eBays new buyer favoured policy makes that a non starter for the foreseeable future - so in reality there's no real environment available to sell stuff................shame. Anyone want a FLAIR CUB kit in truly unbelievable as new condition - PM me At least today was a very good flying day (and tomorrow) in our part of the world and that is what really matters.
  8. When is this going to get sorted - this forum must have more clout than individuals. Is there a BMFA rep on the forum? Not "life and death" in any way - but very frustrating.
  9. As I'm packing up IC a box of bits will be included FOC with this engine. The Photo may not be 100% accurate as I'm still finding stuff Postage would have to be £10
  10. NOTE - I cant see how to edit this - engine now sold - fully complete airframe ready for your 52 NOW £165 sensible offer considered.
  11. This engine has recently been “rebuilt” with new seals head gasket etc Bought for a project which is now sold Includes engine mount, lock nut set and glow plug £85 Postage £5
  12. Decided to go all electric and don't want to convert my Magnatilla as it just doesn't feel right. The pictures tell the story all the right bits full size servos and ready for OS52 (or clone) really clean and pretty much unused NEVER flown pretty rare these days £165 no offers collection only from HR68NN or if paid for I could get it to M5 between Droitwich and Tewkesbury junctions J5-J9
  13. VERY helpful pic thanks for posting it - I'm just starting my "proper" Acrowot build but its a very early kit so lacks some of the detail as to how to fit wing servos
  14. HD Velcro is what I'm using - you used to be able to buy it in 10m rolls which I did app 10 years ago if not more - lasts forever!
  15. Sounds good - it would be good to see a bit more detail if you can manage it?
  16. I have decided to give HD Velcro a try with Albert - I've also cut him down a bit to reduce wind resistance.. I note Denis has a "cockpit" of sorts whereas Albert sits on the wing albeit behind the dash cowling - I might give Albert a small "back rest" after all he is pretty old now! This pic is still a work in progress
  17. Hi, Many thanks and good info for the future. In this instance Pyramid models came to my aid with an excellent set of matt black self adhesive "decals" designed for the "Maggie" J
  18. Hi, Looking for any useful contributions as to how I can resolve these issues please............. My Flair Maggie is nearing completion - covered with genuine solartex - but I'm stuck with two issues How to best achieve the Maltese Crosses on wings and tail................ How to fix the pilot (Albert) whilst keeping him removable for storage - will proper velcro over the entire base work?? Thanks for reading this..............
  19. Ha........I had a switch fail in mid air yesterday thankfully with very little damage I didn't hit anything just a gentle roll in very long grass in the next field.- I suppose its always good to practice Dead Stick situations. I can only assume that the switch failed whilst turning it on.
  20. Just had my maiden flight with this exact same combination and it flys a treat on an old club hack Boomer converted from IC
  21. Hi, This is an old post but if you are still reading - did this set up work well got an old boomerang which owes me nothing and was thinking of this motor in an elec/4s conversion - can you remember prop size and esc size by any chance. J
