I have used RC World several times, never been disappointed. The Poly-C resin they do is very good, nice to use.

Ask yourself what it is you want from your transmitter, if it`s hall effect gimbals and Open TX then I would look at other models as well as Frsky, Jumper and Radio Master for example.

I fly mine using a 4S lipo, it sits a fair way back but not under the wing, the end of the lipo is against the forward wing former. I did damage the cowl, 3d printed a new one which is about 3 times heavier but so much more robust.

There is a full page advertisement for Hotel Glockenhof Austria in the latest issue of BMFA news. They offer the use of rc flying field and also a slope soaring site, it the slope soaring I`m interested in. Does anyone have any experience of this place?

Peter, can I ask if you have used crow braking on your Phase 5e?, I am wondering how effective it is on this model, the manual suggests only small amounts of flap, in fact on my model I can only get 30mm of flap.

I have a 35mHz Futaba T7CP transmitter and a number of receivers and crystals, which I no longer use. I would like to give them to a school or college as the kit is in good condition it seems a pity to bin it. Does anyone know of a likely place that could use this kit?

Thank you all for your input, maybe I didn`t explain myself correctly, I know what a bungee is, Martin_K is correct in thinking I wondered whether there were any rules on the make up of a bungee for competition use.

Is there a specification as to the make up of a glider launch bungee?. I thought that if more than one bungee is in use during a competition for example then they should be more or less the same spec.

Well it seems that our club is not alone when it comes to poor turnout, I am not sure whether to be happy about that.

I am the membership secretary for a small club in Solihull, we have 37 club members, the clubs facilities are modest being a mown area in the centre of a field we rent from the farmer. The club gets positive comments on the friendly atmosphere from visitors. So I ask why is it that the attendance on the club meeting days is so poor with only 5 or 6 members turning up to fly? Do other clubs have a similar experience?

Update: It would seem that my problem with lost model files was a faulty SD card, new one fitted and software loaded, been 3 weeks now no more problems.
