    KK Nomad Plan

If the person who was looking for a KK Nomad Plan could get in touch as was requested in the magazine possibly 3 issues back. I have the source for a plan and templates.
  4. Any Powerbox Evolution ( non Spektrum type ) users on here who are using the 7.4 Lipos as power source with 6 volt servos.
  5. The small Dsmx board in the back of the latest ones can be swapped over to the old ones I believe...I think Horizon Hobby were charging around the £60 for the upgrade..
  6. This is one acquired from Rich Harris as not much was needed to make the transition from ic.....the electric motor was given to me by a freind as came from a quadcopter.....Richard has a video of one of its many flights, but from a totally different angle to those normal vids...... 7. The DB Autogyro flies superb on a 3s 2200mah x 30c lipo...photos by Richard Harris.. Edited By Baz Lewis on 19/01/2016 17:27:07
  8. Hi Peter Just finished perusing the Jezabel plan and article in the mag.....it's a perfect size for 4s power, so buildings begins tomorrow I guess.... This is going to look good at our patch!....not sure on colours yet, but won't jazz it up cus it looks pretty retro... May go down the scale route instead being it's based on an actual racer.....choices! Choices!
  9. Posted by Tomas Dunker on 11/01/2015 16:47:55: Does anyone know if there is an autogyro that works with RealFlight 7? **LINK**
  10. Posted by Phil Winks on 07/01/2015 19:49:41: think I might just dig out those m3 rods then I have used M2 clevises and ball ends....using dia.2mm carbon rods x 3 in a triangular bunch and then a tube of heat shrink wrap to squeeze em tight....just pour cyno down the tube to make solid
  11. With reference to the blade shims......I decided to spot glue a profile of 1mm hard balsa to each blade mount...I then sanded the cross section to a taper until it feathers at the edge. Soak cyno into it and lightly sand when dry....alternative method!
  12. Bill If you are getting a B6 charger.....this one is cheap as it has the adapter built in...these retail at over £20 at the cheapest.....**LINK** The adapters on their own are around £8 but mostly from China....I get 5 adapters at a time for club members as you get the odd one only lasting 12 months....I find the leads go first and not always the adapter block..... Buy it now's are these......http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281205132403 Edited By Baz Lewis on 05/01/2015 20:34:54
  13. **LINK** I've ordered a couple of these for starters......
  14. Anyone know where to get a couple of metal geared 9g servos that are in stock.....please enclose the link if you can so I can order em without the use of Google search.....I had the gyro tip over a couple of times and the servo arm was assuming a different neutral each time. So I took the faulty servo apart (Towerpro MG90s) only to find that the top driving gear was the only metal gear in the case, the others were nylon. When they say metal geared, that's what I expect......
  15. I have tried to fly my recent DB Auto on a 3s X 20c and only just managed to get airborn , so tried the 35c and it took off at 45°, so I know the c rating improves the output...just try it with any size 3s @ above 30c on the bench.....you will be surprised.
  16. What is your Lipo C rating.....
  17. I have overcome the shims on the rear of the blades by gluing 1/32" balsa profile onto the blade mount. Sanding it to a longitudinal taper before soaking with cyno and sanding lightly to finish..something I needed to do to hopefully speed up the rotor.
  18. I have a friend who bought a few 3D pilots for his Lancaster......But found this link which allows you to download your own 3D pilot.............**LINK**
